ok so gon will notice that couples call each other “darling” or “honey” or “babe” so he asks killua if they should do that too. they try tho but they cringe (killua doesn’t like it, gon doesn’t feel like it) so they decided not to but then gon suddenly calls him “fluffy cloud” or “kittycat” or “chocoboy” and killua finds it funny so he does the same and calls gon names at random times too like “froggy” or “green boy” or “spiky head” and it’ll be their thing until it develops into “gon the light of my life” and “killua the love of my life” then they laugh at each other after saying it all flushed and bloomed
they’re just happy little beans. they love teasing each other. killua likes to play pranks at gon whenever they’re just chilling at home playing videogames or watching tv. and gon will huff and puff and act annoyed and attack killua and so begins the pillow fights, which will end up with them embracing and laughing and “ahhhh i love you so much you dweeb” and *mwah*
killua loves gon’s cheeks. every damn time he finds a chance, he secures gon’s face between his hands and squishes his cheeks. squeeze squeeze pinch yup that is one fluffy loaf of bread. he pinches too hard as he couldn’t help himself and gon goes “ow!!” and bites killua’s hand lmao
gon, on the other hand, loves killua’s hair. it’s just super fluffy like cotton and feathers in pillows. if he could bite into them like they’re cotton candy, he would. but he can’t so whenever possible, he runs his fingers through killua’s hair and ruffles ruffles ruffles. sometimes he offers head massages (that killua freakin loves!!!) just so he can secretly play with killua’s hair
at random times, gon softly pinches killua’s ear for a feel. if killua’s ear is cool, he instantly gives him a hug to warm him up (fun fact: this is an indicator that your cat is cold so if you need to, try to check their temperature by touching their ears hehe)
killua is the big bro in this relationship. he learned it while travelling with alluka so he does it to gon too. he asks if he’d already eaten, or sometimes cooks for him and just takes good care of gon in general like a mama. gon is baby and he’s really surprised tho that killua’s like that because he never was when they were kids. so gon does his BEST to be equal the love and care and support killua is giving him so that he doesn’t leave him again
gon giving killua every pretty thing he sees/picks up in the forest, like a heart-shaped stone or a flower or a twig. "i thought about you when i saw it because it’s beautiful!”
“baka!“ killua never grew out of saying this to gon. “baka!“ even when his heart flutters so much because of severe glee “baka!“
