kentjack song of the week............... goddddd
albany kent parson
-ok but if kent parson is from upstate NY, you cannot tell me he wasn’t born in/near Albany, sad, sweet land of my birth that I defend with my honor
-yes, Albany, forgotten capital city of NY by school kids everywhere in the US
-(Kent thinks NYC is so much cooler but no one from Albany would ever say that of course)
-(it’s a pride thing)
-so naturally, I present: Kent Parson, born in “Smallbany” (under read more b/c this got out of control lmao)
This Account Cannot Be Found: Chapter 44: House Money
every time I listen to 'I Hate U I Love U' by gnash I think of Kent/Jack (especially now) and it is slowly ruining me

SLAMS FIST ON THE TABLE more Jackparse drabbles!! MORE KENNY ASKING JACK FOR A KITTy!!
“I’m more of a dog person,” Jack says apologetically to the shelter volunteer by the door, “but we travel a lot for work, and that wouldn’t be fair to a dog.”
“Jack,” Kent says blissfully, from where one cat is curled up in his lap and another is standing on the counter next of him to solicit pets. “I want all of them, oh my god.”
“Your therapist said a cat. I think thirty cats is gonna make you look like you’re backsliding, Kenny.”
Kent sighs melodramatically, looks mournfully down at the Siamese in his lap. “Then I’m just gonna have to work my social media magic and find happy homes for all of you, aren’t I?”
So I am sitting outside on this lovely Friday afternoon, drinking a cold beer and listening to 90′s movie soundtracks (welcome to your mid-twenties, kids) when inspiration strikes....
For your consideration: My Best Friends Wedding AU, staring Kent Parson
10 kent/jack :^)
10. “Please don’t make me socialize.”
There’s something soft tickling Jack’s nose when he wakes up.
He opens one eye, the sun streaming in from the half open curtains far to bright for his head. He regrets that last round of shots last night. Holy hell does he regret it.
The something soft ends up being an actual feather, because Kent is horribly irritating and thinks it would be a cute thing to wake him up by holding one of the feathers that had escaped his (favorite) pillow during last night’s...activities...under Jack’s nose.
Its not cute, for the record. And Neither is the sight of Kent sitting cross-legged at the edge of the bed, bathed in sunlight and wearing nothing but a backwards cap and his underwear.
Jack groans.
“Kenny, put some clothes on.” he demands, grabbing a pillow and pulling it over his face. Kent’s soft “nah, dude” is muffled, but Jack still hears it, and then there is some rustling and suddenly Kent has joined him underneath his pillow.
“Hi,” he says; his cap is gone. Jack tries, holy fuck does he try, not to grin.
He fails. “Hi, Kent.”
“So, Sunny just texted me.” Kent starts, causing Jack to close his eyes and groan again.
“Not another party,” Jack protests before Kent can finish.“Please don’t make me socialize.”
Kent continues anyway, “No, listen. Listen. Jack. It’ll be fun” he insists, pulling the pillow off both of their heads.
Jack keeps his eyes closed, but he can hear the smile in his voice. He knows that voice. That’s Kent's “i know im going to get my way” voice. It’s times like these that jack wishes he wasn’t so completely head over heals for Kent, because now he knows he can’t say no.
“Ugh.” he mutters, rolling over onto his stomach and burying his face in the mattress. It only helps his headache a little bit.
He feels Kent get up off of the bed, and then hears some more rustling that is probably (hopefully) Kent putting a shirt on.
Kent keeps talking, rattling off details about the party. He lifts his head, reaching for his phone on the nightstand. The time reads 12:34, and Jack does some math in his head.
“My parents are gonna be home in like 4 hours.” He tells Kent, who is, surprise, still not dressed. He loves to be distracting.
Kent grins, locking eyes with Jack and raising his eyebrows in that way he does. “Cool, so we have three and a half hours before we have to get ready for this party.”
“You’re only giving yourself half an hour to get dressed and do your hair?” Jack chirps, a smile playing on his lips. Kent jumps on him.
