Ok hanahaki AU hear me out: Jack in rehab from being in love with Parse (unrequited love in the way that he refused to let them be together for the sake of their hockey career) where he just had the flowers removed and his memory wiped and there’s like. A month or two of rehab or whatever that’s learning to soothe over those missing memories and while he’s there he meets Bitty and falls in love with him and gets hanahaki AGAIN except this time he decides to actually keep it. And the fic ends with parse watching the scene of him and bitty coming out and kissing on the ice and the press conference after where jack is like “we met when I was in hanahaki rehab” and literally Kent is the only person in the universe who knows that there was a time, before, that jack loved him.
