So essentially I began with Cybertronian units with explicit definitions in canon that are also widely used in fandom (ie. Vorn = 83 years, Joor = 6 hours, Groon = 1 hour). I then worked my way out from those and tried to keep to rough factors of 6/8/10.

Some terms that did have explicit canon definitions had to be slightly skewed from their value (ie. Breem: 8 → 6 minutes, Klik: 8 → 6 seconds) if their definition contradicted another definition that made more sense/fit better. 

At any rate, obviously no one is obligated to use this standard, but canon Transformers content has been unfortunately... awful at establishing any universal units of time, their relationship to each other, or their equivalents to human units of time.

So this occasionally makes fanfiction an absolute nightmare for people like me with a crap memory who don’t want to constantly have to scroll through a thousand pages of the wiki to remind themselves what the hell a groon is.

So, naturally, I simply spent far too long whipping up this at-a-glance guide to keep track of it & on the off chance that the fandom might adopt it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 

so here is a list of some shipnames for the some of the book pairings that were made! :)

- emwyn: heavyfire! not only is it an actual term (meaning gun firing usually lol, or meaning intense in general) it is also combining both of their peculiarities without having to explicitly use "strong" and "flames" (i came up with this name lol).

- enorace: deaddreams! brought up by(*!) the enorace guy himself ( made a while ago, potentially by @aziraph ? but @dragonsdendoodles brought it up lol. uhhh irdk who exactly made it, sorry! ). it's simple but so effective and cute!

- fugh: beeflower! or alternatively, honeysuckle. just like their ship, it is whimsical and all so precious, and come on, "fugh" is a little strange lol...sounds like "ew" which is definitely not what they are lol! ( made up by @fionas-chicken ).

- jemma: jacob's ship names are kind of not the best to put simply lol...but his and emma's we came up with hollowfire. it's a little generic, especially when you take into consideration "hollowheart" (movie ship) and "heavyfire" (mentioned above). any jacob ship could use more suggestions tbh!

- joor: same thing as above, but it's hollowlight. a better name for sure, but still generic. we really need something better to describe jacob's peculiarity with other than "hollow" LOL.

- jillard: another "hollow" name lol...hollowvision. it is a little contradictive, considering that the "vision" relates to millard but the thing is that he is not visable...but at the same time that's why i like it lol!! (i also made this one so i can make fun of it and say it's a little dumb).

- jicky/racob??: idek if they had a ship name before this one, but it wasn't created on stream but it was mentioned, and that is hollowpunk! ( created by @valentinevandlism ). this is an appropriate use of "hollow" imo. the two words just fit together nicely!

now unfortunately this is where my field of expertise reaches its limits

honestly the only thing i have right now is that during the events of TDoDA they decide to “break up” until all the horrors are over, cuz they think if either of them die during all this and they’re not actively in a relationship, the grief won’t be as bad (obviously this is bullshit. they’ll still be absolutely devastated no matter if they’re friends or lovers. silly kids)

We have some exceptions like Max and Chloe from Life is Strange. With two endings where Chloe dies as a heroine or survives at the expense of thousands of people, this ending honestly doesn't make sense to me, Chloe begs Max to save her mother, Did people really think they would live happily ever after after all this? Chloe could never forgive her own mother for her father's death, and she knows it wasn't her fault, now imagine having to live with Max knowing that she refused to save her, it makes a lot of sense that she left her, love isn't enough.

Now we have Jacob and Emma from Peculiar Children and Jason and Piper from Heroes of Olympus. Of course Emma wasn't over her ex but it was okay because she and Jacob got 3 books for a discount, I definitely loved them so much, the breakup was repetitive and meaningless, especially with Jacob quickly not caring about her anymore and falling in love with Noor, I liked them but I always hoped that Jacob would go back to Emma in the end.

My list of ships probably goes from number one being Enorace, two being Jillard, three being Joor, four being Jemma, and Fugh being five

Summary: Noor comforts Jacob because he's really traumatized.

Being in the remade peculiars house was nice and all, but it gave Jacob nightmares. Literally. Of the nights whenever Miss Peregrine had disappeared, all the nights of hollows prowling around the corner. It was all too stressful.

He shared a room with Noor in the house now. Having left his old life behind, that kept some of the more tame nightmares away, but there's still the really bad ones. One of the worst is reliving the moment in the ship with Noor and the Wights.

Jacob was tossing and turning one night in his bed whenever Noor started to stir. His face contorted into terrified expressions, and noises of discomfort escaped his lips.

Sitting up to see what the commotion was about, Noor looked at Jacob silently, contemplating what to do about this predicament. He seemed to be getting worse by the moment and tears started to well up in his closed eyes.

Noor slowly got up from her spot across the room to cross to Jacob. He was stirring more violently now. She put a hand on his hand and rubbed her fingers across his knuckles soothingly.

"It's okay, Jake." She whispered. "I'm here."

One of his eyes shot up at her words, and he jumped slightly, frightened by the sudden contact. The tears that had been accumulating in his eyelashes fell one by one. Noor grabbed his shoulders and pulled him up, so she could hug him.
