- Sherlock is definitely the little spoon

- Sherlock sneezes those shy, high pitched sneezes and Watson is in absolute awe the first time he sees it (everyone is startled when they first hear it)

- Watson sneeze is abrupt and loud (just like mine lol)

- Watson cuts Sherlock's hair (this one came from @contact-guy ) so whenever they go long without seeing each other his hair goes out of shape

(Random ones -edition)

• Sherlock doesn’t sort clean laundry.

I.e. he’ll take a pair of socks straight from the dryer. He also won’t care if they’re John’s. (John has mentioned this, but Sherlock doesn’t see anything wrong with it. They’re all clean anyway.)

• John changes his sheets very regularly. Like weekly, almost too often. He likes the smell of freshly washed sheets.

(Sherlock on the other hand probably won’t change them ever, if John didn’t make him do it. He probably sleeps on an armchair more than on his bed, too.)

• If When they sleep on the same bed, John will tell Sherlock random (common knowledge..) facts that Sherlock probably doesn’t know (like that the earth goes around the sun) before they fall asleep.

Sherlock tells him to piss off, but honestly, he likes hearing the facts. Would never, ever admit it though.

• Sherlock talks in his sleep almost every night. Usually it’s something about the cases his working on, but occasionally he’ll talk about John as if his having a conversation about him with someone.

John has heard this but never mentioned it. He also uses this to his advantage - when Sherlock for example said something about liking when John has his sleeves rolled up, he started to do it more often. Sherlock is dumbfounded by this and doesn’t get how John could possibly know?

• Sherlock hates to sleep with socks on. John never sleeps without them.

Mrs. Hudson probably knit them woolly socks for christmas. John wore his so much they broke and now his wearing Sherlock’s, which Sherlock never used.

Sometimes John still has nightmares (they didn’t completely go away when he moved in with Sherlock). When this happens, he’ll go into the living room where Sherlock is usually still awake. Sherlock will play his violin and John will sit and listen. Neither of them speaks, and they never talk about these moments the next day.

Sherlock could have very neat handwriting if he tried, but since his mind moves far faster than his hand, his writing usually comes out very quick and scrawled, a lot of times skipping over some words like ‘the’ or ‘and’ altogether.

Sherlock went through a black eyeliner phase in his teens.

At first, John tried to catch Sherlock up on pop culture, but eventually realized that 1) it was a lost cause, Sherlock would just keep deleting it and 2) John wasn’t as caught up as he thought he was either

After TFP John finally reunites with Harry

Sherlock actually didn’t get very good grades in school, not because he’s not smart enough, but because he just couldn’t be bothered to do the work.

Contrary to that, Mycroft got outstanding grades and excelled many school years beyond his age.

While we’re on the topic of grades, John got decent grades up until his upper teen years, when they started to slip. He got himself together, though, just in time for university.

Sherlock, though he tries to hide it, has bad social anxiety.

Mummy and Daddy Holmes were particularly hard on Sherlock and Mycroft, especially after Eurus. This led Sherlock to basically accept that he’ll never be good enough, while Mycroft found himself constantly striving to be perfect and never allowing himself to make a mistake.

Sherlock actually did pick up on Molly asking him out in ASiP but, having just known her for a day, he could think of a way or reason to let her down gently. Plust, he wanted to impress John.
