fiercestwarrior05 Follow
My shipment of drones and explosives finally came in. I even managed to convince the clan to let me keep a little camera to record the match. I have my island all set up, and I'm about to send the invitation email. Today is finally the day I take down that blasted dragon...!
fiercestwarrior05 Follow He just sent me a cat sticker asking if I want drinks. I can't believe he has the gall to take this lightly. No matter: when he gets here, he shall finally taste defeat by the hands of the Amon Clan! fiercestwarrior05 Follow Under no circumstances should the video that was automatically uploaded on this account an hour ago be mentioned or shared.

KazumaKiryu You know, now that I'm back, I should update the old Revelations blog. Heh, even after all this time, this damn city still never fails to surprise me. Maybe I can even call up that Mack guy to help me set up like he did last time.

Can a tribute under Jo Amon's mentorship win the Hunger Games?
Yes
No
He wouldn't have won his own Hunger Games and thus wouldn't mentor
If you would like to see your favorite character either as a tribute or as a mentor, please fill out this Google Form. Just keep in mind that for mentor polls, they will be posted every Saturday so chances are it could take a long time before they are posted.

Shadow Clones in Yakuza
Spoilers I guess for Y7 if you havenât already watched/played
I wanna talk about the difference in these fights between the two sets of âshadow clonesâ (not sure if thatâs the official name of this... technique? or just what the fandomâs decided upon?)
Both Majima and Amon use âshadow clonesâ against the player. Theyâre labeled differently though, which I think is interesting.
The Amon summoned clones are âthought entitiesâ so Iâm thinking like, some kind of servitor?
âWithin chaos magic, a servitor is a psychological complex, deliberately created by the magician for a specific purpose, that appears to operate autonomously from the magician's consciousness; i.e., as if it were an independently existing being.â (via Wikipedia cuz Idk how to explain it myself)
Me going off on a tangent about why itâs probably a servitor and not a tulpa [you can skip it if u dont care about thoughtform witchcraft stuff] Thereâs also a similar thing called tulpas but I donât think thatâs what weâre dealing with here. Um... so truthfully Iâm not entirely sure the difference between a tulpa and a servitor but I think it has to do with a Tulpa being more of an independent entity, whereas a servitorâs more like a robot, conceptually speaking? Someone called â5lenderâ on reddit described it like this: âServitors don't have emotions nor the sentience that tulpas do. Servitors are more like robots than people.â (Yeah, I had to google âtulpa vs servitor whats the differenceâ lol)
But anyways you can see my logic here, hopefully. Servitors are a kind of âthought entityâ in a way. Like clearly those arenât literally Kiryu, Majima and Saejima; theyâre basically NPC ârobotsâ of the characters that seem to be devoid of emotion or their own personality.
Majimaâs clones are different; they are labeled just âMajima.â
When I first saw his shadow clones, I was like âhah wtf did he pull a Kiryu and astral project himself in like, four different directions?â (If you donât know what Iâm talking about, go watch this Y6 sidestory.)
I didnât know if Majima was using servitors or his own energy but now that Iâve seen the distinction drawn between shadow clones, it would seem to be more the later. Yâknow, I mean potentially. I mean, who really knows wtf this shit was supposed to mean to us when the developers put it in? LOL
This is gonna sound fuckinâ weird, âcuz it is. So bear with me ok? So, It seems like Majimaâs shadow clone technique is probably, for some reason, heâs keeping a part of his soul, energy, whatever u wanna call it, in his physical form but then splitting up some of it and projecting it outwards. Now, what benefit this has Iâm not sure... youâd think it would weaken the host/vessel to split up your energy like that, ykno making the physical body vulnerable? But I guess it would lend you the ability to attack from multiple angles at once, and itâs just creepy too so it could be an intimidation tactic.
Like, I donât think heâs using servitors because its labeled âMajimaâ not âthought entity Majima.â Itâs labeled like its a part of him.
EDIT: oh and I forgot to add, this apparently is not a quirk of the RPG turn based fights in 7. Weirdly, Majima uses the same technique in... I think it was 4. But yea. It exists outside of the turn base format too.
Most obscure and specific part of yakuza lore: sango amon is always fought as the last amon before Jo in any game that has more than 1 amon (2,4,5). Sangos defining feature is his beige hat he is always wearing. Jo amon meanwhile does not wear a hat. Except in 0, where he has not taken over the clan yet. Here he wears the hat that would later be worn by sango in all his appearances. Conclusion: the amom clan specifically has a hat to be worn for whoever is second in charge.
you are , big brain extreme genius
JoJo
The best thing about the Yakuza JoJo reference is the fact that they are a clan of scrubs that constantly get bodied.
Jo Amon gets bodied so much that he goes to another universe just to get Omae Waâd in the Fist of the North Star verse.
