It is said that we are undergoing a transformational period in our human history that is being referred to as the Shift. In the same way humanity transitioned from the Middle Age to the Renaissance and the Industrial Age, we now shift into what some in the New Age community call the Platinum Age. This age is characterized by our expanded human consciousness, by our new level of self-awareness. 

To me, Jim Self speaks with clarity about the Shift of ages. Of course, his is only one of many perspectives on the topic. What he shares can seem obscure if you start listening to his recordings out of context, such as this latest “planetary update”. It’s worth looking at his website Mastering Alchemy to get a sense of his overall message which is complex and multi-layered, to say the least. There are many who read the energetic pulse of our planet, which is the collective vibration we’re emitting as humanity and the cosmic/Universal influencers at play. 

Lee Harris is another of these talented “planetary pulse readers” who I also enjoy listening to, however his readings seem to come from a different kind of “knowing”, one that is less tangible for some.

What I appreciate about Jim Self is his ability to discuss how our social, financial and political structures are influenced by, and influencing the collective. What he shares is very tangible and logical. He translates our current societal trends into a vibrational equivalent which can then be transposed onto individual experience.  He looks at the 3D Macro experience to better explain the 3D micro experience.

I think it’s important to understand how easily human nature can be influenced by external forces not in its immediate control, in order to understand how to leverage our power as individuals with a unique purpose and role to play. The current planetary structures generally don’t foster the growth and development of our individual human potential. The good news is, this is the very change that is underway in this time of Shift.
