I've been working on the demi!Jay/Gar pride fic that's been sat in my WIP folder for two years, and I'm actually making progress!! That's been very exciting!

"I shouldn't have kissed you," Gar says, with the air of blurting it out before he loses his nerve. "Just because you get my jokes and you like the same movies as me and I thought there was something there and, I don't know, I just assumed you liked boys too and--"

"I don't."

Gar looks down at his own feet with a self-deprecating little laugh. "Well, I know that now."
