That one scene between Scott and Kira was so important because Scott's experiences with his loved ones finding out what he is must have been so demoralising and heartbreaking. It might have even enhanced his weird dynamic with his wolf side-and not in a good way- but then, here comes this girl who is an awkward ball of sunshine. She happens to be different and weird like he is. And then, the cat is out of the bag, she finds out. He's closed off, and tries to distance himself due to shame and fear of rejection. But she wants to see! He's reluctant but he shows her anyway. He still sags his shoulders and put his head down, the shame weighing on him. But what does she do? She feels his freaking face! And the way she looked at him like he was the most beautiful and fascinating thing she has ever seen. She was also so tender with him. Like that scene was emotionally packed and intimate. Someone accepting him in that manner firsthand was a breath of fresh air. And that scene was what won me over, and why their relationship will akways be the best to me.
