Being the half-dragon daughter of a faerie queen, Itheel's mother used a powerful glamour spell to protect her from the intense ridicule the nobles would no doubt have if they found out that their queen had a child with a dragon. No illusion could change Itheel's nature however, and she was still not well liked by the courts for her brutal honesty and utter lack of interest in her duties as heir to the throne.

Although her mother taught her how to create & maintain a glamour, Itheel had no interest in continuing to lie to the courts and let the spell break when her mother died, allowing herself to be seen as the scaled hybrid she was. Itheel took it upon herself to renounce her claim to the throne & leave the kingdom of Livilla, promising never to return.

She decided to make the human realm her home, and although a glamour was still necessary to protect herself from the wrath of humanity, her new home afforded her significantly greater freedom.

Falfyr Temperance is a dnd character I came up with fairly recently. I usually lean toward races that look more... human, so I wanted to go a little outside my comfort zone. I also haven’t made a wizard yet (weirdly enough, although I also tend go for healing roles anyway so it’s not surprising), and I remember being told/reading something about how “true neutral characters are boring”, so I wanted to make one that’s actually interesting. Falfyr grapples with morality, what they want to do and what they think they should do, what matters, and generally follows the laws (but only as they see fit). Also, why not have a character that couldn’t care less about gender? That’s the least of their problems. I often catch myself saying “she” in reference to Falfyr though, so I’ve made it so that they’re the kind of person who doesn’t care what pronouns you use, which will hopefully make the pronoun game easier if I ever use them in a campaign.

Itheel is a character I’ve had for just a couple years, and I tried doing other things with her, but this is the main version of her. Her mother is Ethelle, Queen of Livilla, the faerie kingdom. Nobody knows who tf Ethelle had a child with, and the hint she’s given is that it was with a dragon. Xandier, the dragon kingdom, is the counterpart to Livilla, as faeries and dragons are seen as the most powerful species and while they aren’t enemies, they aren’t really chummy either. The two kingdoms just kind of put up with each other. Anyway, Itheel is overpowered as fuck because of the fact that she’s not only a mix of the two most powerful species on the planet, but from the Livillan royal family, a particularly talented family tree. Itheel’s mother died when she was around pre-teen age (although she has an extremely long lifespan because faeries are biologically immortal and dragons are nearly impossible to kill, so she would’ve been at least a hundred years old, idk I haven’t worked out the math), and there was debate in the court about whether Itheel was fit/worthy of taking her place. Itheel ended up being exiled, partly of her own accord, partly because the bureaucrats are purist assholes, and decided to live in The Abyss, the only “land” not under fae or draconian control, although it’s a sort of metaphysical place, where species that aren’t fae (elves, sirens, etc.) and aren’t draconian (basilisks, vampires, etc.) find refuge. No one really rules the abyss, although the top species there are humans and demons. Itheel basically polices the place to make sure shit doesn’t constantly hit the fan.

I haven’t done much with Quill, they’re just a wizard pretending to be a human magician/illusionist. They have an apprentice named Verne. Idk what else.
