God I always naively forget that I live in a deeply religious country until talk show radio does a segment talking to kids about science and they keep answering with "Well God did xyx"
#I can ignore the statues and churches cause that's just infrastructure but I live in a bubble and forget not everyone thinks the way I and#my friends do and that some people are a normal amount of religious and not all of them are of an older generation#as if I wasn't raised in the same system and would have said the same things at that age#ireland#irish things
