#ignis headcanons

Periods suck dick. I hate camps so badly lol also I’m changing this a bit where Ignis is real and he’s being the boyfriend ever cause that is what the world needs!

Ignis helping a Menstruating S/o

• He feels so sad that your having painful cramps, bloating and nausea.

• Unfortunately, he can’t come home right away. He’s sadly busy but he’ll tell you to take it easy. Lay down, make sure you have a trash can near by, don’t eat anything to heavy. Just take it easy!

• He’s hurrying getting the rest of his work done, so he can come home and take care of you.

• Once he’s sure he’s gotten everything done, he quickly gets into his car and started driving to your apartment.

• Before he gets there, he buys extra pads/tampons for you, gets your favorite chocolate, gets other ingredients to make more light meals.

• Once he’s there, he holds your hair back since you were throwing up again.

• He feels so bad for not being there sooner but is determined to make it up to you.

• He stays with you to take care of you since you can’t walk much without a cramp taking ya down.

• He spoils you for the next couple of days.

• Makes any of your favorite meals (that you can keep down) holding you hair back whenever your curling in the trashcan, kissing you and hugging you, watching movies with you, doing the laundry, washing the dishes, doing anything he can do to help.

• He wants you to forget that you are on your period.

• He’s determined to make you feel better no matter what.

• It slow but you started to feel better. No more throwing up, not much bloating, camps don’t hurt as much. Things slowly get back to normal.

• Finally on the 5 day, your period is over. All thanks to the best boyfriend in the world: Ignis Scientia!

She has a heart of gold, they are totally in love with each other and she treats him perfectly and he wouldn't change her for the world. she just has a foul mouth on her. Ignis

The first time you cursed like a sailor Ignis just looked at you like ‘wtf?’ and sipped his ebony.

Gladio is so amused by your cursing and teased Ignis in the beginning about how you were worse than he was.

Literally Ignis has some strong feelings in the beginning but when you curse like you do he is confusion.

It’s not anything that will make him break up with you but what?

Eventually as the initial confusion of you being a ‘sailor’ passes he is surprisingly unbothered by your cursing.

He may correct your language in certain social circumstances, especially when you’re around children.

He’s pretty cool with your cursing as long as it is used in appropriate social circumstance and aren’t terribly excessive about it.

Ignis wants you for you and won’t change you for the world.

Me giggling like a crazy person because when this popped up, I was like “Hey I know what I’m gonna do with this right away.”

“What are you two doing?” Gladiolus asked, he had walked upon the Prince and his best friend peeking into Ignis’s office within the study, nearly laddered over one another.

“Shh!” Noctis hissed, as Prompto waved the tall man over to the slightly cracked door.

Gladiolus shrugged, he was game, so he moved over leaning over the Prince to peer in the office. Only to find what they were staring at, Ignis was conversing with a woman, a rather pretty woman who was all smiles and giggles, and Ignis…

Noctis:

Might be kind of embarrassed. He doesn't want to be alone, but he doesn't want to talk about it with anyone either. He'll either sleep away his feelings or call up friends with the excuse that plans changed. They'll obviously notice something is off, and he comes clean. He feels hurt and a little angry, but secretly hopes there was some kind of misunderstanding.

Prompto:

Feels like the biggest loser in the world. He should have seen this coming. Why would someone like his crush be interested in him? Then again maybe he's overreacting, and something bad happened to his crush. He'll probably call up a friend to grab a bite to eat. After acting way too peppy and stuffing his face with too much comfort food, he'll finally talk about what's happened. He really needs a pep talk.

Gladio:

Doesn't want to admit to himself how disappointed he is. Gladio may be a flirt but actual crushes are another ballgame. Part of him wants to confront the person for being too cowardly to turn him down to his face. Another part of him just wants to know what he did wrong. Definitely does NOT want to talk about it, although Iris might get him to open up after he's worked out and had some cup noodles and beer.

Ignis:

Oooh I’ll take a crack at it!

~ In the beginning he accepts whatever help you have to offer but it is hard. He spent all of his life caring for Noctis and not only can he no longer do that but now he needs someone to help him. He will take what he absolutely can’t do without help but anything he thinks he can do for himself, he will try.

~ When he eventually adjusts over time, he has come to recognize the sound of your specific footsteps and can tell when you are coming and always greets you.

~Now that he is blind, every other sense has been amped up, good luck keeping any emotions hidden from him. Because now he can hear the slightest change in your voice, whether it is anxiety or excitement.

~That being said, he will use those audio cues to detect how to best tease you in regular party banter.

~ He has memorized the feel of your hands, could map out the contours of your knuckles and knows the texture of your skin like no other.

~Speaking of hands, he can sometimes pick out your mood based on how you fidget with your fingers and hands.

Meanwhile, Ignis kept yelling at him to calm down because everyone knew that he had gotten drunk before.
