I want to make a quick edit:

Golden Slumbers will remain on Tumblr! I will not delete this blog.

I simply will not be as active. If you have noticed my last update was 2 months ago. And I want to say that I haven’t given up writing specifically for FFXV, its just the muse has left, and no matter how much I have been attempting to chase it, it slips further away.

So instead of running after it, I’m going to give it a chance to come to me. Maybe I’ll write for our beloved boys again, maybe I won’t. I mean old fandoms I haven’t written for in years sometimes spark again.

You may see me reblog from time to time, or answer quick questions, but as of right now. No stories/drabbles will be post.

I want to start off by saying Thank You!

Thank you everyone! For putting up with my infrequent updates, and for making me a better writer and person!

When I think of FFXV, I think of all of you! The 3000+ of you. If anyone was to tell a young Olive that she would be able to connect with so many wonderful people through writing, honestly I wouldn’t believe it! It’s still sometimes hard to believe!

I think of everyone of you and of this blog everyday! How for the last few years you’ve stood by me when I was cranking out multiple stories a day, during job changes, and a few health scares. I love this fandom and it’s with a heavy heart that I must post that...

Golden Slumbers will not be returning from Hiatus.

I have spent months thinking about this. To try and gain that spark of writing about FFXV again, and I try but everything I write isn’t what any of you deserve from me. I only want you all to have the best, as you have made me the best.

The fandom within itself has all but disappeared, and the small spark that was once there has dwindled to just embers. Maybe one day those small embers will provide enough fire to become a roaring flame and I can provide a few better stores for you all.

Final Fantasy XV, the Chocobros, all of you! I love you all so much! and I want to thank you for putting up with me!

Today was your birthday, the day that you blessed this world with your arrival and the only people who even seemed to care were the subscription services you had set up and your dentist office.

No text messages, no phone calls, not even a social media post!

You kind of expected it, there were so many things overshadowing your big day. Now you couldn’t exactly blame some of the others, there were a lot of new released hitting so many networks today, not to mention that there was a huge ball this weekend, but your four boyfriends! How dare! Not even a letter!

Happy New Years, Loves!!

I’ve been having insomnia again, and maybe sleep two hours a day, but I have been having FFXV dreams for whenever I do pass out, and let me tell you this is the best Chris-Ma-Han-Kwanzaa I got since I was gifted the game itself.

i'm late to answer this but i already liked ravus as a character. i thought he was interesting but i didn't really fall in love with him until reading your portrayals of him. the way you write him fits so well with how he is in game and adds more to it. and it gave me a better insight into how wonderful he actually is. you just write him really well and he ended up being my absolute favorite. your writing is why i call him cutesy nicknames like "Darling" or "Sweetie" when i see him in-game.

AHHH!! I always felt that I wasn’t good a Ravus and was just making him kind of jokey, plain, or stoic a lot, this makes me so happy! ( ˃̣̣̥ω˂̣̣̥ )

Ravus is such an amazing character and I wish so bad he got more scene time, so I’m glad that I could assist with having someone else fall in love with him even more! Thank you so much!

Well some suggestions I have for Ardyn and aunt avietis are. What aunt avietis does after Ardyn invades insomnia. What would it be like if aunt avietis were to be with Ardyn for the entire game (like with him when he had the meeting with the chocobros). And what the ending would be like for both Ardyn and avietis. Just some general in-game information based around avietis and Ardyn throughout the game.

Okay so if you read the other post about Aevitas both the Glance over and the Early Life you get basically the same scenarios until Aera is killed.

This is basically a brief overview of their life, like some cliffnotes.

Due to the connection, Aevitas has with the Oracle when Aera is struck down and Ardyn loses control, Aevitas attempts to stop Ardyn but is only able to subdue him leaving her weak from trying to drain the darkness within him not realizing just how much darkness is within him when he goes on the run and she’s unable to regularly purge him. Somnus takes this as an advantage and seals Ardyn away.

Aevitas on the other hand gets trapped by the crystal when she realizes that it’s after Ardyn’s “Soul”. She gets trapped until Ardyn is awakened again as she makes a deal with the gods to watch after him and with Ardyn “asleep” she is not needed, but still is able to interact with those of Lucian blood by being a “ghost” around the castle, though she cannot leave the castle walls until Ardyn wakes up. Nor does she have a physical form until that time, she mostly appears as a ghostly form of what she appears in the past.

Oh that’s great to hear I hope to see her soon. It’s been a long time since any fanfics of her cake out. By the by do you take suggestions for scenarios for her? I’m just a bit curious on a few things with her and would like a bit explaining. But if not that’s cool I’m happy just seeing more of her.

Yeah Aunt Aveitas comes far and in between, since mostly have to be in an Ardyn mood.
