Noctis & Ignis

Ignis says and does things for Noctis that would have people screaming if they came from a canon love interest. He cooks for him, drives him, advises him, protects him, nags him, worries about him, and then when everything falls apart in Altissia he puts on the Ring of the Lucii knowing full well it could take his life. He loses his sight because saving Noctis matters that much to him. Ignis is absolutely devoted to Noctis to the point where he says he would let the entire world burn and die if it meant Noctis would live. He literally rejects the “Noctis must die to save everyone” destiny because he cannot accept a world that survives by taking Noct away. In one ending where he dies, his last words are “I don’t want to die without him.” That is DEVASTATING AND ROMANTIC I love them because Noctis is so used to Ignis being there that he almost doesn’t know how to function without him, and Ignis loves Noctis so completely that duty and personal feeling have fused together beyond all hope of separation. They should’ve been allowed to be textually in love. They basically already are.

◇ always the first to notice when your starting to fall ill or dont feel well even if you yourself dont realize it yet.

◇ the king of acts of service. of course takes suchhh good care of his lover when they feel under the weather or sad you practically have to beg him to stop bringing you food after the 3rd plate of cut up fruit just cause youd been a little sniffly.

◇ despite being busy he often leaves heartfelt post-it notes scattered about your shared place or your belongings its not uncommon he slips a sweet and dorky note in with your lunch.

◇ hes suprisingly into gossip but only as an observer, hes always coming home with new information from around the citadel its like your own reality tv show.

◇ gets WICKED migraines but trys to persistently work through them until it becomes unbearable the first time you nursed him back to health he felt so so embarrassed but you quickly dispelled his thoughts with a scalp massage.

◇ forgets to take his glasses off while sleeping sometimes mostly when hes sleep deprived from working long hours of going through reports and helping write speeches.

◇ has a little notebook filled with recipe ideas but part of the notebook is him just figuring out what foods or ingredients you like or dislike and keeping score apparently you were one of his most important critics.

◇ keeps a keen eye on your nervous ticks if you had trouble with anxiously picking your skin hed offer his gloves or a hand to hold in exchange without even bringing it up.

◇ hes very reassuring asking sure you know exactly why he loves you snd likes having yoy around is important to him hes not one to waste time beating around the busy anyway.

◇ absolutely has a crazy amount of hair styling products in your bathroom and pouts if you move them.

◇ he ends up anxiously organizing things while on the phone so its not uncommon for you to wake up and find your things have been neatly sorted

◇ if you pass out suddenly forgetting to do your skincare he'll gently do it for you while you sleep hes got it down to a science by now and your skin has never looked better.

◇ often you find yourself being fed oddly specific things by ignis he prides himself being a caretaker and makes sure you have allllll the right nutrients headache? Magnesium in your drink. Lightheaded? Who needs iron supplements when he can just cook you a big fat juicy steak.

◇ you bought him one of those "kiss the cook" aprons as a joke once and now he demands a kiss everytime he makes something.

◇ sleeps on his back like Dracula hands folded on his stomach or chest. Sometimes he falls asleep holding you but even then he ends up on his back by morning using you as a glorified blanket.

◇ isnt big on pet names but does call you darling and sweetheart sometimes mostly when its just the two of you.

◇ not big on pda past hand holding but he will find a way to hover around you in public

◇ keeps his place simple but he always has fridge magnets from places his visited holding up pictures of everyone he holds dear.

◇ when it gets serious he keeps a picture of the two of you on his desk at the citadel never answers the prying questions from his coworkers but regardless he enjoys being sappy sometimes.

◇ sometimes he humors you and watches gordan ramseys kitchen nightmares with you he pretends not to care but gets SOOOO heated 10 minutes into an episode.

◇ does not forget anything ever. Hes got every anniversary and milestone saved in his head like a calender.

◇ if you also have glasses sometimes he'll mix them up in the morning and wonder why be suddenly cant see as well while getting coffee.

◇ is a sucker for some good praise makes him heart flutter internally but he trys to act nonchalant on the outside. Tell this man you love his cooking.
