my psychologist really made me feel less crazy and how I will be surprised when I do receive what I deserve, when I am being loved back just as much, when friends do treat me equally and the friendship is mutual. yes that part made me feel less crazy when you realize how unhealthy something can be for your well-being

#yet still there's so much sadness #and I still need to communicate how I feel towards my friend #that the dynamic is not healthy for anymore #maybe it's enough for her this way #but my feeling says no I can't continue any longer #when I'm the one who gives more than her #and how she never really texts or calls to do something #and how it seems impossible that we'll ever go on a trip together #it all seems not longer there #and how I wish she would treat me better #how communication is at the core of every connection #and that I feel I'm growing and she's not #it's shit when you feel you're outgrowing such a special friend #but you know it's not good for you #if nothing changes #changed behavior/actions is important #I can't go around in circles #not another year #I can only say it for so long #as long as she's happy with how everything is

How very ironic it somehow seems to be while life delightedly has its way and not one living soul shall be spared as each puzzle piece it randomly rearranges I, and I fear too many others like me repeat the same unwise choices day upon day Ignoring or forgetting wisdom long ago shared If nothing changes, nothing changes

I’ve told my parents multiple times that if something doesn’t change in this country in terms of school shootings I will not be raising my future children in this country. I went through the fear of not knowing if I’d leave school alive on any given day and I cannot and will not allow my future children to go through that and I cannot go through it as a parent.

#i know that I’m very privileged to be able to make this statement confidently #but I truly cannot fathom raising and putting my kids through school #if nothing changes
