Happy Holidays everyone!!!

I was so looking forward to my first Christmas in Sweden (which is celebrated today, on the 24th the way people celebrate New Years on the ever before) but I came down with a really bad flu or maybe even Covid (lost my sense of taste and smell) so now I'm just chilling at home haha

I hope everyone else is having a much lovelier time than me ❄️

Arts, Crafts & Apologies (fan art for a 7 year old fanfic)

So, a few weeks ago, I got this ask regarding Ford bonding fanfics, and I mentioned how years back in my GF Amino days, I worked on this little Mabel and Ford bonding fic with some other people on GFA. Well, I've had this idea for fan art about that fic for years now.

Near the end of the story, Mabel and Ford hug after Ford helps Mabel overcome some lingering Weirdmageddon trauma she has about the rift breaking, when she accidently breaks a snowglobe at the store. I wanted that moment immortalized in art and as a strong Mabel and Ford bonding advocate, I was gonna see it through.

I tried to get this commissioned last year with another artist but that didn't work out (you'll know who it was if you followed me last year). Recently, my friend and amazingly talented Gravity Falls artist @sez-sez, opened commissions up on Ko-fi and being in a place now thankfully where I can spend a bit on commissions, I decided why not. Sez is an amazing artist and has done some beautiful Mabel and Ford related fanart before. Plus, I love their style a lot!

Thank you so, so much, Sez. I love how this piece turned out. You brought the vision high school me and my GFA buddies had all those years ago to life. It was amazing working with you on this and I am so glad I got this commissioned from an amazing artist as yourself :P
