Can we talk about eva stratt and the fact that her Tumblr tag is still trending? The movie itself stopped trending so did the literal main characters tags and the main ship tags; however, eva stratt's, the non-lead, female, morally nuanced, character who gets maybe a half hour of screen time (this is a very rough estimate pls correct me if I'm wrong) in the whole, over two hour, movie, tag is still trending. This movie came out 5 months ago. Go nuanced female characters being treated with respect despite having done bad things. Go women being judged for their actions instead of their bodies. Go people empathizing with women instead of brushing them off. Go people treating women in a role of power normally. Go women being treated like people. Eva Stratt is a win for women.
