Seo Moonjo in episode 8 is hilarious to me because the first thing you see him do in the show is kill the other dude for being impulsive but then he sees Jongwoo's boss talk down to him and he's like 'guess who's not going to see another day ^^' like bro the HYPOCRISY
It's not irony. It's not hypocrisy. It's just very "American".
As the far right appeals to mandatory patriotism and cranks up the hype to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of a war fought to cast off and refute monarchy, the sentiment of 'no kings' is portrayed as unpatriotic and "un-American" by the ruling cabal. They can do this without being laughed out of office.
That's how well the populace here understands history. That's how well they understand correlation, analogy, logic, reason and psychological manipulation.
Then again, the fledgling United States wanted to crown George Washington as king. Immediately after getting rid of one King George they wanted another one.
So being dumb asses is right there in our national DNA.
Reading Iron Flame: and the irony of Violet lying/“selective truthing” to Rhiannon (her best friend) who is constantly asking her what she doesn’t know, why she doesn’t ask for help because she’s there for her… and Violet can’t tell her, even goes so far as to avoid her… Meanwhile, Violet can’t be with Xaden because he can’t tell her everything & she doesn’t feel like that’s love??? I’m not saying any of it is invalid either way… I’m just finding it an interestingly complex paradoxical dynamic & internally cringing slightly cause like Vi, I think Rhi is trustworthy & could be super helpful (their squad already feels like a rebellion with Ridoc alone not to mention Sawyer & the whole truly rebel crew).
I BANISH THEE TO AN ETERNITY OF FAVORITE CHARACTERS/SHIPS BEING THE LEAST POPULAR IN THE FANDOM!!!!

Actual thing I (a 175cm person) just said to my (157cm) friend: "Height advantage is for losers use your mental fortitude cowards."
Wait for the Millennium
One thing that really grates on me is the double standard imposed on LGBTQIA people in the Church. Conditions & rules are made for us that cishet people would never accept for themselves.Â
One is that we should live alone, not have companionship and avoid sexuality with the hope that things will be made right when we’re resurrected.Â
Any blessings we should have had in this life will be granted at that time (I see this as saying if the Church should’ve blessed same-sex relationships, you’ll get to have that blessing then).Â
If we’re going to be turned cishet (as some Church leaders believe) it will happen then and we can find someone to marry before the final judgement & beginning of eternity.Â
Why is this waiting for the Millennium a thing for queer people but cishet people aren’t required to wait? Wendy Nelson was 55 years old when she married 81 year old Russell Nelson. Sister Nelson is not going to get pregnant in this life, she could’ve been told to wait for the Millennium. Elder Nelson could’ve been told the time for companionship, romance and sexuality would be his again after resurrection.Â
I’m gay, and if I’m going to be turned straight after the resurrection, then a relationship with a straight woman makes sense at that time. Meanwhile, why am I going to be asked to forego the greatest source of joy in this life?Â
There are straight people who are sealed to a spouse who has died, and they marry each other just for this life because companionship and love is important for their physical and mental health. Their relationship is seen as temporary and they’ll no longer be joined after death. Why am I not allowed a similar opportunity to have a relationship that brings joy in this life even if it won’t be sealed in the temple?
never trust how you feel about your life or relationships at anytime. just never do. bad idea. just don’t. don’t. don’t do it.
