It's fun to imagine that theo knew abt sebastian, simply bc marcel could NOT shut up abt him. it was always "the beast, the beast, the beast" with him until finally he started talking about some dude named sebastian as well. just finished Dunkirk. we know absolutely nothing about Tommy. we know his name. we know he wants to get out. we know that he's going to work his ass off to get out. maybe we see a little bit of his kindness, his respect for the dead, in the burial scene. the only part where anyone really talks, where he has a personality beyond survival, in the entire movie is on the boat. and while we see that Alex is brash, all we learn about Tommy is that he will put his own neck on the line for Gibson. that's it. that's the only fucking thing we know about him. god, I'm obsessed with them.
