me after i was literally just hating on dunkirk
just finished Dunkirk. we know absolutely nothing about Tommy. we know his name. we know he wants to get out. we know that he's going to work his ass off to get out. maybe we see a little bit of his kindness, his respect for the dead, in the burial scene. the only part where anyone really talks, where he has a personality beyond survival, in the entire movie is on the boat. and while we see that Alex is brash, all we learn about Tommy is that he will put his own neck on the line for Gibson. that's it. that's the only fucking thing we know about him. god, I'm obsessed with them.

fav underground puppy pack headcanon of all time is that mason isn't human anymore. at least not FULLY. like, he's definitely not a full on werewolf after being possessed, but he heals a little too quick now. only gets sick like, once a year. at most. in fight-or-flight his eyes will glow the same blue they did that night in the lab, and his senses will sharpen, and he tries really hard to make sure NO ONE sees it. gets a little paranoid that it goes deeper, and that if he lets go of control enough, he'll lose it completely. like the power isn't the only thing that was left behind. like sebastien's still dormant in there.
in reality, it's just flickers. nothing more. but he'll never be the way he was before that autumn. physically, or mentally.

There's being down bad and then there's hiding countless bodies that your crush brutally murdered, taking the fall for his crimes, telling his sister to kill you and erase you from history to keep him safe, quite literally figuring out the secret to imortality and living hundreds of years just to bring him back to life knowing he would just kill everyone, sacrificing countless teenagers only to succeed and have him immediately kill and the insult you and your last words are still telling him "all for you"
Teen Wolf being all about friendship saves the day! love keeps you human! and then introducing Marcel/The Surgeon as an antagonist that became one BECAUSE his boyfriend was a serial killer and he really wanted to revive him
90% of Teen Wolf villains may be motivated by power but Marcel is not one of them

A theory I reasoned out while developing my fic: Marcel, having learned that seemingly unstoppable Sebastian was taken down by his sister Marie-Jeanne, wanted Tara dead and her heart used for Sebastian's resurrection in Theo's body. If Sebastian's vulnerability was being killed by his sister, then using Tara's heart would eliminate that threat entirely: there would no longer be a separate sister who could attack her brother.
