Okay Niffty is a darling. Very similar to Charlie but a whole lot more naive. Lots! Of! Exclamation! Points! But also many questions that get right to the point. Also very short sentences, similar to Angel. I feel like while she’s obviously picky about clean spaces, her keen eye would play into interactions as well. If I were to lie and say my name was something it wasn’t this would probably be her reaction: “Your eyebrow twitched? Are you hiding something? What is it?” Imagine the last question yelled and her very close. She is a little ball of energy. I also saw someone compile a couple ADHD headcanonc for her that I 100% feel are in character that I’ll reblog shortly.
Husk is fairly easy. He keeps to himself and doesn’t like associating himself with others. Except in the wiki...
This shows that while Husk acts indifferent, he has a soft side. I believe this shows that he appreciates kindness but doesn’t know how to reciprocate it, so he shows his appreciation by being patient and a good listener and just overall as supportive as someone as gruff as him can be. While writing his dialogue, keep it emotional based, and if not, leave his responses to physical reactions like eye rolls or dismissive hand waves. Examples shown in the pilot are in response to Charlie’s greeting Husk states he “lost the ability to love years ago”. He could have responded any other way, but chose to express his emotions instead. Another is when Alastor summons him, he responds purely with anger and irritation. Basically if Husk isn’t given the opportunity to express emotions in some way, he won’t communicate at all. Also I believe in a stream Vivziepop was talking about age and said he was in his 40s? Not sure if they’re still using that though. Yeah that’d definitely play into dialogue. Insinuate he’s old as shit without explicitly saying it. Common phrases would be “back in my day...” or different variations, as well as drug/alcohol jokes like “I’m too sober for this shit”.
Woah this was fun. I love Husk. Anyway I also thought of something while writing this. You know how Husk has heart hand beans? Could that be seen as him wearing his heart on his sleeve, like the saying? I don’t know maybe I’m thinking too far into it or I’m being dumb. Anyway, hope you like this!
