honestly every time the grammys pull a fuckass stint like this more artists should follow suit and boycott. magically creating a new "contemporary country" category after a black woman won best country album should've been enough for a significant number of artists of all backgrounds to call bullshit and boycott from submission. seeing the success of arirang and, again, magically creating an asian category when there is literally no reason arirang or any of the singles couldn't be considered in the "big" categories is just another stunning way of saying "only white people can win these awards". bts have done the right thing, in my opinion, by hitting the grammy's where it hurts. they are one of the biggest names in music in their comeback year and their omission from the biggest awards ceremony in the music industry will cause enough chat that, hopefully, is heard. and frankly more white artists should be bringing attention to the grammy's consistent racism by shouldering artists of colour into their own categories. if taylor swift or billie eilish or justin bieber refused to submit as a show of solidarity this wouldn't even be a discussion. anyway I'm proud of the boyz they'll have my little purple heart forever

wish there was more discussion of Henry and mike in FFPS where Mike DOESN'T know the plan.. because canonically he doesn't. Henry lied to him. And I just think that's very interesting. We know that Mike is a "brave volunteer" who apparently stumbled onto this job on accident, but when did Henry realize who it was? if it was before the last day, why didn't he feel like he should tell Mike what the deal was? Did Henry not trust him? Did he feel guilty for leading him on this long? Did he just assume Michael would be cool with it the same way he assumes Michael is ok dying? Because that's another thing!! even if he was right and mike was ready to die, this was NOT Henry's call to make and he made it anyway. Michael was just another loose end to tie up. he doesn't even say Michael's NAME. he won't address him even to his face. How must that feel? I wonder...
