Welcome to my brain~
I've been taking this flu medication for 3 days now, and after surviving 3 days of sweating buckets (and counting) just to relieve the fever, I am now starting this blog. Also, does taking flu meds to cure legit flu really increase sweat? Or it depends on the drug? Or maybe... I just forgot how flu and meds feel since it's been a while since I got it.. idk anymore... x.x
So, I was thinking about why I like words and language so much, and I remember when I was pretty young always wanting to learn more words, hoping I would find the ones that would help me explain it all, help me make someone understand; “it all” being my thoughts and feelings, and always the never ending pressure in my chest like something was horrifyingly wrong, like I wasn’t where I was supposed to be, wanting to run home when I was already lying in my bed, feeling like life was going to crush me, and always hoping I would find those words, which I never did, but loving the new words I did learn, and wondering why everyone uses the same words all the time when there are so many to choose from. Anyway, how I started loving words.

Nighttimes are dangerous for me. That’s when my raging inferiority complex comes to visit. I call her Imogene. This song is the only thing I’ve found that chases her away. Last night’s exchange went something like this. Imogene: You’re too old for this you know Me: Shut up Imogene, I’m trying to sleep Imogene: They’re all young and energetic and clever and you’re trying way too hard to fit in. Me: I’m just having fun. Imogene: They don’t think you’re fun. Me: Fuck off Imogene Imogene: Your writing sucks too. Me: Where are those cookies?
Head Conversations
My roommate: [*incoherent sounds*]
Me: Looks over. [*Wonders if she’s looking at angst.*]
My roommate: [*Looking at a story filled with fluff.*]
Me: Am I the only person in this hall who loves angst more than feels?
That Person: Probably.
My roommate: [*still looking at the story*] OH MY GOD!
Head Conversations
That Person: I have this horrible idea.
Me: Don’t we all?
That Person: NO, YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND!
Me: ... Sure, let’s go with that. [I wonder is that person realizes that we share the same mind space?]
