Guess what yall, I finished another pair of socks (they are siblings, not twins) using some stash yarn and the yarn left over could prob make at least 2 more socks. very successful stashbusting :-|

Birthday sweater for @gilfrespecter that I finished a few months ago! It's inspired by the Porsche bb-Auto Targa Hybrid 2024, & this is the second time I've used the Wesley Crusher Sweater for Adults pattern (coincidentally also for a bday gift!)
Yesterday afternoon, I looked out into the backyard and thought the conditions looked about right, so I changed my shirt, put on a jacket, and gave my husband my cellphone.
"I need you to take some photos for me."
"Don't you want the sun to be out?"
"Nope. Let's go."
And thus, the photo session for Sleeping Satellite happened, of which this is one of the photos. I still don't like getting my picture taken. Also, always think that I am smiling more than I actually am.

Finally felt ready to try out my first pair of socks!

Yarn: Darnie by Studio Donegal
Of course I'm working with a pattern for a completely different yarn and gauge, so an converting every stage to fit my gauge. Nothing like making it easy for myself 😅
Any tips for getting the fit right? I'm worried they'll stretch out too much when they're finished.
Been 3 weeks since I’ve taken a full sweater shot of this piece. Such a good color and design. On my way to finishing!!
