Okay so premise; I have not read the BNHA manga, I have watched the anime series and the movies. And simce I'm on Tumblr I know how some of the stuff happens in the manga even if I don't actively read it.
Okay next, Endeavor apologists/stans don't come for me please. I'm just saying what's on my mind since I've watched the latest episode of the anime at this time. (ep 18 season 5)
OK so. Endeavor not saving his son because he was scared Natsuo wouls never speak to him again? Dumb. Stupid. Kid could've and probs would've died if it wasn't for the Super Kids Trio saving the day. He sure wouldn't have said much as a dead guy that's for sure. Of course, I get he would be hesitant to do anything because of his status as a father and #1 hero but "I was scared if I saved your life that you would't talk to me anymore" is a whiny and dumb excuse for a grown ass man to have.
Second, it's so incredibly sad that Natsuo thinks he's unkind because he doesn't want to forgive Endeavor because that's not the case. Natsuo has the right to be angry, to be sad and to never want to forgive or forget. It's normal for him to not be ready to forgive someone who has given him an extreme amount of childhood trauma, heck it's normal if he never wants to forgive his father. It doesn-t mean he isn't kind for doing so, like Enji said; Natsuo is kind, he cares and he loves. It honestly really reflects how society treats abuse victims, how victim blaming happens and how those two things affect a victim's view of themselves.
