i got an anon a couple minutes ago (which i honestly think was directed at someone else) that was like "i saw that you were talking about how it was transphobic that jax was misogynistic but i wanna add my two cents: the misogyny couldve stemmed from his mom" sum like that
ive only talked about him like once or twice but never about his transness which i honestly am not interested in the topic because im not a trans woman (not like that, more power to him, but ykwim)
it seems you've never heard of the phrase "your trauma/mental illness/neurodivergence can be a reason, but not an excuse". i frankly do not care a whole lot about his backstory and im not going to let that be used as an excuse for him to hurt other women. he literally did not have to do any of that but he did and saw no issue with it at any point. none of the characters fought back except zooble i think, but like maybe a handful of times. i could give him a bit of grace but i dont want to
