Glowstone dust mixed with water can make a thick potion which is also edible indicating it might be something useful for cooking and baking. Its use would vary depending on if the potionβs thickness is like mucus, gelatin, cornstarch or what have you but regardless it might be a surprisingly useful thing to have around.
It's used in many recipes. Wether you're making nether wart pudding, or an apple tart, it's used. It's surprisingly also used in a lot of festive recipes, such as jellies or cupcakes, due to its glow in the dark features! kids go crazy about it!
