It's good to remember that this still exists.

I spent most of the first "stage" trying to build this house and dig a stairway down. But we'll be getting into why that was futile soon.

I basically played modified Beta 1.8 for more than two years straight before getting tired, as a long-time Minecraft player, and that's the dump version. Beta 1.8 is the version people dump on. And a relatively small mod of it can give it longevity. My point is that the developers of FR vanilla 1.20+ are somehow making a game that lasts less long than the game did in a former decade, and these developers really have not much in the way of an excuse. It's a weird achievement to boringify Minecraft. I pity that people are allegedly enjoying Minecraft for only two weeks at a time en masse now. In the past it wasn't like that.
