This natural crystal cluster features graphic radiating layers of gunmetal goethite and hematite clusters, which have weathered to brick-red rust. It also includes sections of creamy microcline. Perhaps the most unusual aspect of this cluster is the rich black pyrolusite "branch" which runs diagonally through the specimen. Unique from any angle, this crystal has a well-formed acicular radiating goethite fan on one side, and eye-popping rust red color on the other! This medium sized cluster is perfect for anyone from novice to serious mineral specimen collector. This beauty comes from the appropriately named Crystal Peak area of Lake George, Colorado.
