Mikasa sleeps like the dead quite honestly. No really, she thinks it’s really cool to just lie down and put her arms over her chest like she’s actually dead. Armin gets really annoyed that she does because she usually shoved him away for this to happen and if he’s not in her arms at all 12 hours of the night, he has a really bad morning.

Armin does not wake up first happily. He wakes up first, groans a bit and cuddles back into Mikasa for morning cuddles. Armin’s not a morning person and he needs at least 20 minutes of sleeping in and planning his day to wake up.

Mikasa sets an alarm to an obnoxious Mongolian throat singing or gym bro playlist variant. Sometimes to piss off her partner, and sometimes to get herself ready. She really really likes Mongolian throat singing though especially when Bjork does it.

Mikasa is definitely a journaler type of person. She sits up and grabs her custom made pen and journal ready to write some absolute incoherent pretentious bullshit. She thinks she’s changing the world with her writing so let her have this. After she journals, she takes a sip from her lemon water (she cuts the lemon and puts it in water) and thinks about waking armin

armin has severe bedhead in the morning that he gets nervous if Mikasa points it out to him. He however likes it stroked when he wakes up.

Mikasa calls him “pretty girl”, “my gentle hare” (she thinks it’s cute) “lovie” “baby girl” “sweetness and light.” on a good day. On a day she knows armin will not get up, she uses the full government name.

sometimes she’s had to resort to flicking hair against his nose (she’ll lie and say she doesn’t want to see his nose twitch but that’s pretty much what she wants) or throwing him over her shoulder to wake him up.

Armin usually gives her a good morning kiss but sometimes it will lead to trapping her with affection and that does not work on her. Armin’s mind games in general do not work. Mikasa knows this and uses it to her advantage.

Mikasa sets reminders on her phone for armin to take her estrogen shots since armin sometimes forgets. Armin swears she can do it by herself but Mikasa doesn’t let him because she knows she’s scared of needles.

Mikasa takes about an hour in the bathroom which pisses armin off who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup, yes. But still needs to tame his hair. Sometimes she does this to rage bait, other times she actually needs to get ready.

Armin does not see well in the morning without her glasses. Like at all and he squints his eyes trying to find them.

sometimes, he’ll say it was him not seeing well that caused him to grope her girlfriend or trail down her abs. Mikasa doesn’t get flustered around anyone else but her partner is someone she never expects.

That being said, she does get armin back by lifting him up and holding her in a playful headlock.

Mikasa has the cutest bandaids for Armins shots that armin may or may not have gotten for that reason.

When she measures Armin’s chest, hips or legs, she tells armin how proud she is of him. And how far her pretty woman has come. Sometimes this turns into a cuddle session though.

Mikasa is extremely cuddly around the ones she likes. She will often sprawl on her back or wrap an arm around armin. Armin will call her his “sleepy bear.” Because sometimes she can snore when she isn’t aware of it. Armin finds it cute.

when they are in the bathroom together, they have a race to see who can brush their teeth the fastest. Armin tries to kiss her shoulder, neck and face when he’s done with mouth wash, much to Mikasa’s annoyance.

Mikasa has banned phones from Armin’s hands in the mornings. He had an addiction his first years of undergrad and the news makes him stressed. She also does not need to hear about him wondering if his grades will drop (they don’t but Armin’s anxious enough for her to kiss it out of him)

Armin melts into her arms every single time and has to stand on his tiptoes to properly kiss her. No matter what, he believes that he is loved and she will be fine.

Armin also has a cinnamorall mug. Mikasa has Kuromi (she wasn’t really a Sanrio fan before Armin but she thinks it’s cute)

Armin always wears his hello kitty pajamas and a t shirt that looks like it was pulled from the target kids section. It either says “eat sleep, anime repeat” or “I paused my game to be here.”
