❤️ Roasting peppers! Rub the pepper with the oil (olive/mustard/ vegetable) and place directly on the open flame of a gas stove. Rotate occasionally using a pair of tongs so that the pepper blisters and chars on all sides. Place pepper in a Ziploc bag to steam for a few minutes. When cool enough to handle, remove the blackened skin and use the peppers as desired. Daughter and I use them for 🔹pasta sauces 🔹dips (purée) 🔹toss with spinach/pine nuts 🔹salads 🔹soups 🔹quinoa salads 🔹stir in mashed potatoes (daughter's idea) 🔹make rolls with a cheesy filling 🔹Risotto My favorite way is 🔷HUMMUS!
