So, how many of you attacked the Fire Nation on Monday? 😛
I, alas, did not. First day back at CC means the first week of the Nightmarish Parking Dance, which is where you fall in line with all the other parking vultures and circle the parking lots for hours waiting for a space to open. (Which is a LOT less coordinated than I just made it sound...) Monday's time was 1 hr 45 min, leaving me barely 5 min to get to class. Fortunately, the Nightmarish Parking Dance only lasts a couple of weeks, and then it settles down to a mere Annoying Parking Dance, like Walmart on a weekend. 😅
(In case any of you missed this post, I really actually wanted feedback on my split blog idea.)
(Also, to those of you who've sent me "5 happy things" asks in the last week or so: don't worry, I got them! I'll get to them soon.)
Anyway, now it's time for me to attempt to answer all your wonderful replies to my appreciation post... under a read more cause it’s crazy long. 😂
frozenartscapes replied to your photo “Had an extra piece of paper lying around, printed this up just to see...”
Ooh! Great quality! If you don't mind me asking, what kind of printer do you use? Just curious. :)
Don’t mind at all! It’s an Epson XP-960.
raksha-the-demon replied to your post “So…does anyone still Pokémon Go? :P”
i was playing regularly up until about a month ago, mostly just as a bit of walking motivation for me and my husband. we're both easily manipulated by the lure of only needing to walk a little further to hatch an egg. but weather + my work schedule has kinda prevented us from playing for awhile. i still like it as a minor motivation type thing, even if it's kinda crap as an actual game
frozenartscapes replied to your post “So…does anyone still Pokémon Go? :P”
I do casually. It's gotten cold where I live so it's not as fun, but I'm hoping I can skate on the canal and hatch eggs that way.
Yeah, same. The weather plus the game itself not being as engaging (except for the ever elusive eggselent hatch)...I guess we’re all under the weather when it comes to playing Pokemon Go. :P
@frozenartscapes replied to your post “Guess what day it is...”:
Wow, seriously? And here I thought all those DMV jokes were just exaggerating… At least you got through it!
Yup, that's really the way it is. 😅😅😅 Almost two hours of waiting; half an hour standing in line to get in the door, and 80 minutes sitting in an uncomfortable chair waiting to be called. (I got there shortly after they opened, or it would have been worse.)
@let-it-geaux replied to your post “Bought this cutie on my way home from the DMV.”:
Surviving the DMV definitely calls for a gift.
No kidding.

*whispers* you can buy them online. 😉 In fact, they appear to have some online-exclusive ones for Wonder Woman. (This one is further down the page, and now that I look is rather an improvement over the old one, at the bottom of the page...)

One post, just like the episode! :D
Okay, so we have three votes for one post (you, @olofahere, and @above-d-clouds), and one for either (@frozenartscapes). I’m calling that consensus. 😉 (And really, it makes the most sense, since all four episodes take place either en route to or on Homeworld).
Hope you don’t mind my piggybacking a little to answer replies from the post...
@frozenartscapes - I already have a habit of doing twofers (due to not having enough to say about an ep for one post, etc.), so this will only be twice as long.
@olofahere - Well, that’s not as bad as me with the Tangled series, and with Supergirl; I’m behind on the watching AND the commenting! 😅
@frozenartscapes replied to your post “Well, shit. This is looking very bad.”:
The end of the month can't come soon enough.
I KNOW, RIGHT?? 😱 And we get 4 episodes in 2 days. It’s gonna be wild, if not a nail biter.
Fic replies!! 😁

I already got your comments on this on PM, but thank you again! 😊

#ice to see you #ice see you later #i needed this #i love the part where she manages to dodge all those bullets #what a COOL thing #poor kristoff lol #elsa's so casual about this lol #'yeah thats right you think you can catch me..try again suckers'
Thank you! Though now I feel bad for only having one ice pun. Darn. :P
(And I picture it as more Elsa standing still, smugly watching the hapless policemen, trying to get bullets past her wall of tiny magic ice shards... 😂 Although, it's not outside the realm of possibility that she could make it look like she dodged them, using the shards to deflect the bullets one way while moving the other way. Hmm.)

So funny! I love that dour Elsa has a sense of humor, even though it’s been hours since she had coffee!
"Why are you in such a big hurry to leave??" he shouted, struggling against the ice holding him in place. "I HAVEN'T HAD ANY COFFEE IN HOURS!!" came her rapidly fading voice. *Elsa zooms away to find coffee* *Kristoff looks at the camera like he's on The Office*
(Thank you!!)
@thegeekogecko reblogged your post and added:
Ok, dorky Assassin!Elsa who drinks too much coffee and makes bad puns is almost more than I can handle! #great job Bug!
Especially since her coffee addiction doesn't factor into this fic at all (except see above 😂). I tried to keep it a little humorous, even though this is more serious than my usual DA!verse offerings. 😉 (Rather like the tone of "An Unexpected Discovery", I think.)
@frenzy5150 replied to your post “Made-up fic title: "Ice Knowing You”:
Oooooooh!!!

Thanks, Frenzy!! I figured you would like it. :D
@fangirldag reblogged your post and added:
Oh man, this is fantastic. I love seeing how Kristoff balances work with knowing Elsa. The little sh-. XD And it’s so cool seeing an Elsa who is so… Precise with her magic! Awesome. :D
@dagart - Thank you, Dag! :D As we all know, DA!Elsa is a huge dork, but when it comes to combat, she can be scary!
The whole "magic ice shards" thing came from when I was trying to figure out, "How is she going to scare them off?" Obviously, summoning a snowstorm or other very obvious displays of her power (cf. the Summit Siege in the movie) would create too much talk in the town, and she'd probably have the whole force out for her head. So, she needed a much more subtle application of power. I briefly toyed with the idea of an ice wall that could STOP bullets (and there's no doubt that she could make such a thing), but this was even better.
(Love seeing Domestic Au stuff! Easy to miss at times though.)
I do try to reblog these multiple times. And as always, I tag any that I see (with just #domestic assassin au, usually, but sometimes #da!verse.)
@olofahere reblogged your post and added:
Icy what you did there.
You guys are just going to bury me in an avalanche of snowy puns, aren't you? :P (Thanks for reading!)
