One of the things that irritates me most about From is not the millions of unanswered questions. It's some people in the fandom. There's always someone complaining that the episodes take too long to show certain things, that they drag on too much. When it's perfectly obvious to me that they're giving us each piece of the puzzle. So that we can put it together ourselves. This isn't a bad show that spoon-feeds everything.
So much so that we see incredible theories from people who are analyzing everything. It's amazing. At some point we'll understand everything and we'll have several other theories. From it's a series for people whose brains haven't been melted by tiktok.
One thing I really enjoy about Fatima is her anger.
She's one of those people who constantly try to be in their best mood for everyone else around them. To be the comforting and uplifting person. But that makes them neglect their own needs and emotions. So when inevitably they explode, the anger comes out. Because what is anger if not the most intense way we have of protecting ourselves? Of expressing what has been building underneath without having a chance to come out. Anger can be a sword, but also a shield.
Fatima is afraid (as anyone in Fromville is) and that fear has brewed into anger. We can see that in the "FUCK YOU, STOP FUCKING SMILING" scene. Ellis and everyone around her thought she was "breaking", I don't think she was. She was burning with understandable anger. That anger might be what keeps her going, not hope, hope is for everyone else, something she offers, anger is for herself. None can seem to give hope to the personification of hope (Donna refers to Fatima as such).
I think that repressed and explosive anger might be one of the reasons why she was chosen to bring Smiley back. That's the perfect environment for a creature like Smiley to grow in.
Now her anger is making her rebel against these creatures. She's sick and tired of being powerless and she's taking that control back by building a Golem. Yes girl, give them hell. Let it all out.
Too 5 fav FROM characters, go!
Julie, Kristi, Jade, Kenny, Randall!! If any of these characters were to die I would actually bawl my eyes out, these are my babies fr I luv them😭
And an unpopular opinion I have which Ik you didn’t ask for but Julie is definitely over hated in the fandom and I think it has to do with the fact that a lot of adults genuinely hates kids/teen it bothers them to see them doing things that shows their age.
As 16/17 year old when I started watching from with my mom I’ve really resonated with her so she’s always been my top one. Kind of the same thing with Kristi was I realized that she was apart of the LGBTQ+ community so second place will always be hers as well. Kenny is third and then Jade and Randall are always switching around so they’re tied imo

Can we just destroy the idea that you can’t be upset about things? Especially in content that you enjoy and the company you surround yourself with? It isn’t healthy to pretend like anything is perfect, especially the content you take in. You should be able to point out flaws in things. It’s not healthy to force yourself to be quiet about things that bother you so that the community seems “peaceful” when really you’re extremely uncomfortable because the community around you says that you should accept what you’re given no matter how much it personally hurts you.
Salty =/= Aggressive. It’s not ‘hate’ to point out that something is flawed.
You know how often I get the question “Do you enjoy ANYTHING?” because I pointed out a small flaw in a movie with my family? Just because you see a flaw in a film, a story, a person, doesn’t mean you don’t enjoy it/them. And you aren’t attacking anyone by pointing out that something bothers you. And they should be able to accept that they, like you, are fallible and imperfect and capable of being flawed. They shouldn’t tell you to be quiet and that your feelings are unfounded. My family shouldn’t have- my friends shouldn’t- Content creators shouldn’t- Your fellow fandom members shouldn’t.
Family, career, personal life, fandom or whatever kind of social circle you choose to surround yourself in-
It’s not healthy to pretend you’re okay with everything happening around you. Especially when the people doing the things you’re not okay with are telling you it’s okay.
Wait, does Bendy always have a tail?
