I'm still not over portal pussies...Just thinking about alpha!ghost being too aggressive during ruts so all he gets is an omega portal...
Poor you, the mechanic who works part-time as an omega relief because the government doesn't pay you shit. You get rented out to some alpha for the week, unsuspecting while you make your nest and hunker down with the portal on.
Only to gasp as two fingers are shoved in without preamble. Thick, calloused, pushing at your walls like the alpha on the other side is testing your limits.
A tongue follows. Tasting you, getting a feel for your scent only to pause.
Your phone pings on the edge of the nest, a notification from the portal app. The alpha just paid double to call you, a feature for the more...needy partners.
You fumble to accept the payment and call, only for a familiar voice to growl over the speaker "I know it's you, omega."
Ghost. Ghost, the alpha you flirt with too often, the one who always rejects you with a huff. He laughs at the way you clench around his fingers "fuckin' hell, I've been dreaming about this. Knew you were a slag."
"It's not like that–" you whine, back arching to present for an alpha that isn't there.
"What? You ain't renting yerself out to any alpha with a paycheck?" A mocking rumble. You feel the fat underside of his cock rub over your hole, using the embarrassing amount of slick as lube. With a final slide up, the round tip of his cock notches barely inside.
Over the phone you can hear the downright animalistic growls. You can practically see ghost when you close your eyes, bowed over his bed, resting all his weight on one forearm while the other grips the portal and pretends its your hip.
"Can't wait to fuckin' knot you. Make you mine. Get you pupped." Ghost thrusts, too hard and too fast for you to do much more than yelp and gasp. He sets a punishing pace, sinking as deep as he can get and still growling like it isn't enough.
You hear the distinct sound of bedsheets tearing when you clench down, moaning "alpha! Ghost– ghost, please–!"
"Give me a moment, fuck–" the base of his cock begins to expand, until he's no longer able to slide you over it, stopping short so he can force the knot in all at once—
"Deep breath– fuck! Yes...there we go..." the knot pops in, and your mind goes blank when thick ropes of cum fill you up.
You blearily notice the pleased rumbles of ghost through the phone. "Gonna keep you nice and stuffed, lovie. Yer mine now."
That's not how this service is supposed to work. You doubt that matters to ghost anyways.
these pics are soo calling jack in college late at night…
“Hey baby” he drawls and you can practically hear his smile through the phone. You smile back “Jackie.” You can hear him shifting on his bed across the line.
“What’cha up to?” He asks, a small grunt following, probably him getting comfortable against his pillows. You’re hunched over, painting your toenails with the phone shoved between your ear and shoulder as you giggle, “uhh, painting.” You smirk and you swear you can hear him raise his eyebrows.
“Painting what?” He asks, you smile and shrug “Myy toes” you can hear him chuckle and you do too. He lets out a soft sigh, “I miss you.” He whispers into the phone. “I miss you too” you breathe, “even though I saw you,” you look up at the clock, “four hours ago” you giggle, moving the nail polish across your nail again.
“I know, it’s torturous” he says flatly, like he’s completely serious. “Shouldn’t you be studing for your fancy med school finals?” You giggle, switching the phone to your other shoulder, poking your tongue out of your mouth in focus. “Probably” he sighs softly, you can hear his bed frame as he leans back. “But I’d rather be talking to you.” he smiles.
“Perv” you gasp dramatically to which he laughs at, making you laugh too. “What color are you painting them?” He asks softly, sleep becoming more prominent in his voice. “Yellow” you smile, yawing yourself. “You got your little tongue poking out like you always do when you focus?” He asks.
You suddenly become overly aware of the wetness on your lip and pull it back into your mouth. “Shut up” you giggle, which makes him smile, “You’re so cute.” He whispers and you hear him yawn after. “You should get some sleep” you whisper, capping the nail polish and getting on your bed. “We should.” He says softly.
You smile and nod “Goodnight Jack, I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“Night’ baby, see you tomorrow” he whispers before the line clicks dead.
hello my caramel princess my world my nonbinary curl, can you write Eden x Spider please I miss them…
Completely Oblivious
pairing: spencer white x oc!eden knox
CONTENT WARNING: mutual pining, oblivious oc, romantic tension, physical touch (hand on chest), party setting, alcohol mention (background)
word count: 1.3k
a/n: thanks to my friend for requesting my bbys!! i just wanted to write something soft and a little full of that quiet, "oh no, i'm falling for you" kind of feeling. spencer being completely affected by the smallest things while eden is totally unaware felt too cute not to write.
thank you for reading ♡
The music pulsed through the house in steady waves, the bass vibrating beneath the floorboards until it settled somewhere behind Spencer’s ribs. Every room was crowded with people talking over one another, laughing too loudly, disappearing beneath flashes of colored lights that painted strangers into silhouettes. The air smelled faintly of cheap alcohol, perfume, and something sweet someone had spilled hours ago. It was the kind of party that felt too full, too warm, too alive.
Eden had escaped to the kitchen.
She rested her hip against the counter as she dug through a bucket of melting ice, fishing out a can of soda instead of reaching for anything stronger. She’d already decided she was taking it easy tonight. Someone brushed past her shoulder, another voice called her name from somewhere behind, but she barely acknowledged either before popping the tab open.
Across the room, Spencer noticed her almost immediately.
He should’ve looked away.
He knew that.
There was no reason to walk over there. No reason to willingly throw himself into another conversation that would inevitably leave him more frustrated than before. He’d spent the better part of the evening telling himself to keep his distance, convincing himself that maybe if he stopped paying so much attention to every little thing she did, whatever this was would eventually pass.
Instead, before he’d even realized he’d made the decision, he was already crossing the room.
Eden didn’t notice him at first.
The shifting neon lights caught the loose strands of her hair, turning the soft pink into something brighter every few seconds before fading back again. She stood there absentmindedly peeling the label from her soda can, completely unaware that he’d been watching her longer than he should have.
Then she looked up.
The moment her eyes landed on him, her expression changed without hesitation.
It wasn’t dramatic. Most people probably wouldn’t have caught it. Just the smallest lift at the corners of her mouth, her shoulders relaxing almost instinctively, her face brightening in quiet recognition.
Like she was genuinely happy he’d walked over.
It hit him harder than it had any right to.
His steps slowed until they stopped entirely.
Eden frowned almost immediately, tilting her head.
“What?”
Spencer blinked, forcing himself to look anywhere but her face.
“Nothing,” he answered, the word coming far too quickly.
It wasn’t nothing.
It was never nothing when she looked at him like that.
She hummed, clearly unconvinced, before reaching out to grab her drink. As she slipped past him, she bumped her shoulder lightly against his without a second thought.
“You’re acting weird.”
A dry laugh escaped him before he could stop it.
“You’re the one acting weird.”
She looked back over her shoulder with an amused smile.
“I’m literally just standing here.”
She wandered back toward the living room, weaving through clusters of people without much thought.
Spencer stayed rooted to the spot for all of three seconds.
Then he followed.
He told himself it was coincidence. That they were heading in the same direction. That he wasn’t subconsciously tracking wherever she went.
None of those excuses felt particularly convincing.
By the time he caught up, she’d turned too quickly, colliding with him before either of them had the chance to react.
“Oh—”
Her hand landed flat against his chest to steady herself.
Everything stopped.
The noise around them blurred into something distant. The music became nothing more than a dull rhythm somewhere outside the moment.
Her hand was warm.
Light.
Completely innocent.
She left it there without thinking.
Spencer forgot how to breathe.
“Eden.”
His voice came out quieter than he’d intended, rough around the edges.
“Hm?”
She looked up at him, her eyes searching his face with nothing but genuine curiosity.
No embarrassment.
No realization.
Just confusion.
He swallowed hard.
“Don’t do that.”
Her eyebrows knitted together.
“Do what?”
“That.”
She stared at him for another second before letting out the smallest laugh, more puzzled than amused.
“You’re not making any sense.”
He dragged a hand through his hair, exhaling sharply as frustration tangled itself with something far more dangerous.
“You keep…” He paused, searching for words that didn’t make him sound completely insane. “You keep looking at me like that.”
She blinked.
“What are you talking about?”
He stepped closer, just enough that he didn’t have to raise his voice over the music. Close enough that she had to lift her chin slightly to keep looking at him.
His eyes searched hers, almost hoping she’d finally understand what he meant.
“Don’t look at me with those eyes.”
Silence settled between them.
Eden’s expression only softened.
“What eyes?”
There wasn’t a hint of teasing in her voice.
No smug smile.
No hidden meaning.
She truly had no idea what he was talking about.
And somehow…
that was the worst part.
Because she didn’t know the effect she had on him.
She didn’t know that every absentminded smile, every gentle touch, every warm glance she gave him lodged itself somewhere beneath his skin and refused to leave.
She wasn’t doing any of it on purpose.
She was simply being herself.
And Spencer was the one who couldn’t stop falling apart every time she looked at him.

Simon’s lip is busted, pink skin cracked down the middle.
Your brows are pinched in the middle, shoving him and forcing him to sit down on the kitchen chair. There’s blood running down his chin, and you’re not sure if it’s from his lips or from his teeth crashing into his gums.
“Didn’t need to do that.” You sigh, pressing an alcohol wipe to the wound.
He winces lightly before smiling wide. It draws more blood, but he’s too smug to care. “Bloke touched you.”
“Except he didn’t.” You emphasize, “He was just looking.”
“Arguably just as bad.” His big hands rest on your waist.
“People are allowed to look, you know?”
His fingers tighten around your hips.
“You can’t punch every guy who does.” You level him with a stern look.
He pulls you on to his lap, legs falling either side of his thighs. One hands gone from your hips to your chin.
“Why would I ever let them look at something that’s mine?” His voice is low, peering at you with heavy eyes.
His other hand slides lower, grip finding the globe of your ass through your jeans. It’s harsh, and you can tell there’s still adrenaline running through his veins that he’s decided to push on to you.
He drags you down, crashing your lips on to his. You try to pull away, the gash is still open and bleeding, but he holds you tight. He kisses you like he’s claiming you, fervent and possessive, forcing your lips open with his because he’s decided you should get a taste.
You taste the blood then, metallic and salty. It rushes into your mouth the harder you kiss, and it must hurt Simon, but you know that makes him like it even more. Your tongue swipes out, sliding along the broken skin. He groans, deep, hips bucking up into your parted thighs.
When you pull away, there’s remnants of his blood on your lips. He stares at them with lidded eyes, primal and hungry. His thumb pushes it into your mouth, and you suck instinctively, a horrible smirk breaking out across his face at the sight.
He’ll beat up every bloke or he’ll just keep you here in his lap forever.
⋮⟢ drabble: pope cody who was your scary best friend before he became your scary boyfriend
── ✦ pope who you’d probably met in a very normal, mundane setting. something like a park, somewhere the wood chips got into your socks and gave you a splinter. you’d been walking on the side of your foot for a while, trying to ignore it, until you asked the boy sitting in front of you on the bench for help with the wood chip stuck to the bottom of your foot.
he’d take your foot in both hands the way you’d hold a bird, turn it toward the sun, and get the splinter out with his thumbnail. he acted like he did this all the time. and then he’d have no clue what to do when your face crumpled, because it still stung.
“it’s out,” pope’d say dumbly, holding up the splinter to show you. and when just the mere fact of stating the removal of your pain didn’t work, he’d awkwardly pat your ankle once.
and when that also didn’t work – dramatic you – he'd sigh through his nose and just put your sock on for you. he’d put on your shoe for you, too, tie the laces in a knot, tight enough that you’d have to cut it off later, and give it one firm pat.
and then you’d just keep materializing over and over again to the point that pope was confused. all he'd done was help you take out a splinter and now it felt like you lived here, on this bench, next to him. forever, seemingly. he’d definitely realize you were the only person in the whole wide world that wasn’t anything like his family and had given him a semblance of attention. sure, he was confused why you’d done it in the first place. but i imagine that earlier – before he’d started dabbling further in his violence and the cody family work – he’d be more prone to accepting a stranger-turned-constant in his life. he still had some trusting instinct in him, choosing to believe you when you honestly told him you liked hanging out with him.
── ✦ pope who was sometimes very strange and didn’t know he was. he’d bring you rocks because you once said – while walking past an enormous house in oceanside – that the quartz gravel in somebody’s driveway was pretty. so naturally he picked up a random little rock from the gutter two streets over, wiped it on his shirt, and gave it to you.
he did it again and again and again because you found that you were more endeared than anything and had started keeping these rocks first in your pocket, then in a shoebox, and finally on your windowsill. you could’ve told anyone which came from where. so even if you didn’t particularly have a fondness for random rocks when you noticed the quartz gravel, you definitely grew one!
(pope who also later replaced said rocks with the real thing when he came into money he had no idea what to use for, only ever remembering how your older tastes had sometimes made you look through the window at the jewelers and your eyes had lingered too long on a little diamond necklace. he never saw the necklace, really, only noticed you wanting it. he knew how to take care of that)
pope who wasn’t really sure how a simple hangout worked, so when you’d asked him to come over later on saturday without specifying when, he sat on your porch step for two and a half hours. when your mother asked him if he wanted to come inside and eat something, he’d say no, because he was supposed to be hanging out with you, not your mother.
when you finally came, you just sat next to him on the step and stayed there, finding it all so natural.
── ✦ and when he’d begrudgingly agree to hang out with your other friends, it’d accidentally lead into him drawing them away from the both of you. he hadn’t even meant to do that (not at first, at least).
he’d watched your friend hand you some shitty snack and said something like “don’t give her those,” without any explanation, smacking the snack away from your hand gently (though the explanation was that you’d ate one of those and promptly threw up on the ferris wheel, and it’d put you off of them for life).
if someone asked if you wanted beer, he’d say “she’s driving.” you were?
if someone asked you if you were cold, he was already handing you his jacket, mentally beating himself up for not having noticed sooner.
he’d move his chair to face the door wherever he was sitting, because ever since he’d watched people break into their little trailer as a kid – smurf, always tangled up in some shit – he’d learned to stay alert. so people always thought he was rude when he randomly turned his chair away from the group while someone was speaking and they were forced to stare at his back.
── ✦ pope who during your surprise birthday party (that he was only invited to because everyone knew how mad you’d be if they didn’t invite your best friend since you were a kid) would just stand in the corner and watch everyone with a frown, and when it got too late he’d tell everyone that the party was meant to end at ten even though that was never decided. and everyone would leave because you’d just stand there beside pope being like “yup!”
and then you and pope would spend the next three hours bagging cans, wiping down corners, finding a nickel or two between the couch cushions because of how thorough the two of you were. that was the good part. he’d wait for that.
after, he’d say, “that was fun.” and you’d think he was talking about the party.
── ✦ pope who kept saying “i can take care of it,” whenever one of your friends mentioned someone bothering them. at first, they thought it was a turn of phrase – ugh, i’ll beat him up for you, but in pope’s language – until pope started asking where he worked, where he lived, and what his car looked like.
pope who had punched a guy for you, a boyfriend-of-a-friend, when he’d said something about you while you were in the bathroom. he’d asked the guy to go outside to smoke a cigarette, decked him, and come back with his hands in his pockets.
you were a little confused when your friends told you pope had gone out for a smoke, because pope doesn’t smoke, and because the six of them had squeaked it out at once.
he knew your friends knew, so when he came back, he’d just looked at all of them as he stood behind your chair as you and your friends sat in silence, tilting his head to the side to confirm whatever social contract he’d expected from them. then he’d simply shrugged and said, “he had to go home.”
── ✦ and when pope started noticing that you were being invited to hang out less with your other friends, consequently meaning he was being invited by you less with your other friends, he’d ask, “is it ‘cause of me?”
you’d immediately say “no!”
because even you hardly believed that it was because of him; pope was so good. he read the manuals for everything you got, peeled oranges for you – handed over in an unbroken coil, because a torn piece would've bothered him – fixed your bike chain, and made you the perfect sandwiches.
sure, he had a tendency to sometimes growl when a stranger got too close to you or a little puppy barked at you. sureee, he always had bruises on his knuckles without ever having a story for them (or rather, without giving one). and he sometimes glared when your girlfriends asked you to go on a double date. or appointed himself as the designated driver when they specifically asked you to have girls night.
on the occasion you actually did go, he’d sit outside in the car watching you through the window of some restaurant or bar.
he’d come in just once – after he saw a guy linger at your table for nineteen minutes and thought it was fucking girls night, waiting until the guy went to the bathroom – and when you gave him a questioning look he just pointed toward the bathroom, forcing an embarrassed shrug like he just wanted to take a leak.
maybe it was just a coincidence that you nor your friends saw the guy come out of the bathroom! pope stopped at your table on the way back, hands in his pockets, knuckles freshly pink, and said, “want anything?” and when you said no, he went back to his car.
“isn’t he so sweet?” you’d say to your friends, misty-eyed and dreamily, watching him sit in the parked car like he was a pretty sunset.
“the sweetest,” they’d say, three of them in unison like they’d been trained. you were completely unaware that they were in the midst of realizing you were a lost cause.
so obviously you could not, for the life of you, imagine that people wanted to not hang out with you because of pope. it was their loss, anyway, you thought.
pope was so relieved once he realized he wouldn’t have to spend time with other people, just so he could hang out with you.
── ✦ pope who took over their vacancy so quickly that you didn’t even consider it as a loss even for a day.
if you wanted to get drunk at a bar, he’d go with you and get a beer while you slammed three cocktails within an hour. he’d try to gossip with you when you asked him to “tell me something fun.”
“craig and renn had a fight.”
you’d light up because that was interesting. “good. he’s bad for her anyway.”
“yes,” he’d simply say.
and when you’d press for the details (what did they fight about? who started it? did anyone cry? on a scale of one-to-ten, how bad?), and he’d have none, he’d noticed how you’d slumped slightly, ever the nosy little thing he’d been hauling around for years, he’d frown. he genuinely had no more details to give you because he hadn’t cared enough to listen to craig’s tangent. but clearly you cared, so he’d say, “i’ll ask him.”
after he managed to get the hang of it – and found he liked it, talking shit, the whole nine yards of "but you didn't hear it from me – you’d both end up laughing.
and when you’d ask him for another story (because he had so many; the cody house was so weird), he’d say, “smurf woke up so late this morning,” thinking it held the same value as baz breaking up with his girlfriend at the time.
when you opened your mouth without saying a single word, stumped, he'd double down, "like ten," like you just didn't get it yet.
pope who somehow started filling every single shoe of the people in your life. pope, your girl best friend. pope, your mother (“did you eat?” “yes.”). pope, your dad, apparently, at some point (making it his mission to check your car).
pope, your dog (waits by the door and knows the sound of your car pulling in). pope, your bodyguard (constantly scaring away everyone, threat or not). pope, your financial advisor (“you don’t need to spend that kinda money on that.”) pope, your sugar daddy, immediately after (“fine. give it to me.” “what?” “i’m getting it.”)
pope, when you’d run him through the list, just looked at you confused and said, “someone’s gotta.”
once again, he was right. you’d gotten so lucky with pope, what were the odds of that? astronomical, you’d think, cheerfully. and then you’d wonder if he’d like one more shoe to fill.

Coffee is part of your daily routine.
If you don't start your day with coffee then it can be ensured that the day will be a terrible day.
You're not strict about your coffee, you don't simply stick to one type of drink. You're the type to explore and try new things. From lattes, to espressos, to cappuccinos, matcha, chai tea, hojicha and a lot more. The convenience of living in a big city is that there will always be a bunch of cafes and coffee shops to try with new businesses opening all over the blocks.
You've made it your own personal mission to try as many new shops in the city, not limiting yourself to one place. You want to support as much of the local businesses as possible, staying away from the big corporate brands. You have enough dealing with business and corporate issues in your work life so the least you can do is support your local community in your personal free time.
On your scout to work you happen to come across a new coffee shop. It's slightly hidden on the block but the brand name and minimalist colours catch your eye.
'Fuga.'
You're interested immediately. Coming to a stop outside, the meaning of the shop name is printed in white on the window. 'Fuga — One of the Japanese meanings of this is 'a way of elegance or grace'. We hope to include fuga with every order that we take; there's no rush, just sit back and enjoy.'
The opening and closing times are also unusual. They're open in time for the usual morning rush hour but unlike other coffee stores, they stay open until 9pm. You can't imagine the shifts that their staff must take and how much happens behind the scenes.
Despite being hidden, it is the morning rush hour on a weekday and through the window you can clearly see that there is a queue forming. Underrated coffee shops get discovered pretty quickly these days thanks to social media and it's not long until they'll be announcing a sister location somewhere else in the city.
Stepping inside, a bell chimes overhead but it's drowned out due to the hustle and bustle inside the shop. The scent of crushed coffee beans hits you immediately and the sound of lofi music playing in the background is just about heard over the level of conversations in the store.
Joining the queue, your eyes scan the cafe. It's pretty spacey compared to the other units that most coffee shops rent out. There's clearly more places to sit in the back and all of the window seats are currently taken. There's a handful of students and people in suits either sat working away on their laptops or taking a call. In the corner an old man is sitting back and enjoying a cup of his own hot coffee.
There's three people currently manning the counter and you worry whether that means service is slow but on further observation you notice they work well, weaving in and out of each other. There's a man situated at the till, tall and large you first notice. Then you see that he has pink hair and it's only when you inch closer to being served that you notice he has an array of black tattoos. They're printed on his face as well as around his wrists and you start to wonder how many baristas you've seen with face tattoos.
He seems to be the first.
Behind him seems to be a white haired figure with a plum pink stripe dyed into their hair. It's clear that whoever employs these people are very laid back with how they are presented. The figure moves quickly but also with caution pouring and making drinks before bringing them to the collection section and calling out a name.
You've been so caught up in studying the new environment of the cafe that you don't even realise that it's your turn next. You haven't had the chance to look at the menu so when you finally do, you're left with your mouth open in front of the tattooed man. And on closer observation you find that he's rather intimidating.
"Good morning." you greet.
"What do you want?" he asks in a monotone tone evident that he's been repeating this question for a while. You brush off the fact that he hasn't greeted you back and you simply hum as you stare at the menu.
It's evident that you're irritating the barista by not even knowing what you want, the bored expression on his face and his finger impatiently tapping the counter. Your eyes are scanning the menu until he finally says something that in all of your years of going to local cafes have never heard in your life.
"Can you hurry up?"
"Excuse me?"
"I said," he draws as if it's painfully inconveniencing him to repeat himself, "can you hurry up? There's a queue behind you." It's evident in his tone that he's not asking but rather ordering you to do so and for a split second there's a moment in which you forget that you are in fact the customer.
"I'm aware." you say, "I'm deciding."
"You had two minutes to decide." he retorts.
"I've never been here before, of course I'm going to take my time looking at the menu." you keep a calm tone making it clear that you don't want any misunderstandings.
"Do you want a medal? What's your order?"
Fine. You think to yourself, you're gonna give him the benefit of the doubt.
Maybe it's been a long morning, maybe he wasn't supposed to be on shift today but then got called in, maybe he's just an asshole. You don't care. But what you do care about is getting your morning coffee as usual.
"Vanilla latte with oat milk please."
"We're out of oat milk." he announces keeping his tone flat with enough space to add some frustration into it as if this was your own fault.
"Really?"
He doesn't reply, keeping a blank face that silently asks 'do I look like I'm joking?'
"Uhhh, could I get an iced strawberry matcha then please?"
"We're out."
You hold back a sigh, forcing a tight lipped smile on your face. "Fine. A cappuccino. Any milk you have. Please."
The barista doesn't look up, tapping onto a screen. "Regular or large?"
"What's the difference?" you ask.
He points to the side where the size cup differences are shown and as usual the large is 50p extra.
"Regular."
"Name?"
After giving your name, he mutters something under his breath and if you were in a bad mood this morning then you would have asked him what his issue was but instead you keep quiet, silently wishing he spills lukewarm coffee all over his disgustingly attractive face. Somehow. If it was logical to spill coffee on one's face.
"Four fifty. Tap your card and stand over there." he orders without any patience.
You don't even think twice before tapping your phone and moving immediately. In your mind you continue to curse him forever whilst watching his back muscles move swiftly as he makes your drink. Him and the white haired figure switched places with him making your order and his co-worker now at the till.
You expected a long wait but it takes less than five minutes before he's yelling out your name with impatience.
And he pronounced it wrong.
Whether it was on purpose or he wasn't listening to you at all, you'll never know but you go ahead and take your order. You can't even say thank you directly before he's rushing off and completing another order. Deciding to get out as soon as possible, you grab as many sugar packets you need, a stirrer and you head on out.
"How fucking rude." you mutter to yourself, opening the lid to your cappuccino. There's no latte art and you wouldn't expect there to be given the rush. You pour your sugar in and stir until satisfied, slowly making your way to the office building.
Sure, you know baristas are sometimes not the most welcoming people given the high stress level of their jobs and you've come across some reclusive baristas before but this one…he's just plain rude. You don't usually complain about how people do their job but this one has really struck a nerve.
How was he hired in the first place? Does the manager know he speaks to customers like this? How did he even pass an interview to get hired for this place? Does he act like this with all his customers?
Those are the questions that you continue to ask yourself whilst on the way to work, you get a little distracted after taking a sip of your coffee and coming to find out that your cappuccino is actually pretty good. Usually some cafes don't do cappuccinos the right way but there's something about this cup that makes you wonder what exact type of coffee bean they use.
You make a mental note to check later in your free time and it's not long before you start to feel rejuvenated by your coffee. Despite your bad customer service, you still manage to get a good cup of coffee to support your day and it's almost enough to forget your bad interaction.

Almost.
That cup of coffee was good.
Good enough to make you check their company website and check their 'about us' page.

The grumpy tattooed barista is a little anti-social but he makes the best lattes ever! will be coming back again! four stars.
"A little?" you say aloud to yourself, "give me a break."
The review that follows under that is also highly popular.

A nice and newly established restaurant under the Japanese name 'Fuga', the name is fitting for its elegant service and high quality coffee. They have a wide range on the menu and serve food too. The cafe is spacious, plenty of space to study or work and if you use electronics they have power sockets dotted around. Good prices for the service and highly reliable. I will be coming here again as it is not overwhelmingly busy or loud like some other places. I highly recommend. four and a half stars.

tHE tattooed barisSta maybe be cold hoever his coffees are the warmest!!!!! xoxoxoxo peefect date location (soz for typos idid this fast on my phone so i coulget fre emochi) FIVE STARTS
You let out a sigh reading the reviews, it's a little cheesy but you get the point. Reading all 54 reviews you've come to find that a lot of people find the same tattooed barista annoying but miraculously all is forgotten once you've tried a coffee from him.
There isn't one totally bad review — maybe from an AI bot who says that the location is in a whole other city but other than that it's clear that this cafe is a new and upcoming contender as one of the best spots in the city.
And that doesn't sit right in your soul.
Taking this personally as someone who runs a company, you understand that if people were talking about your employees in this manner then they would be subject to being fired. You're confused on how this man is still employed even after fifty reviews, surely the owner must be reading them.
You sit in silence for a while as you contemplate.
Should you?
Or shouldn't you?
Hesitant, your fingers hover over your keyboard, testing out a sentence.
i tried this cafe as a new customer — no, no, too cliche, you backspace your sentence entirely.
Thinking for a moment, you reflect on what you want to say. You start typing slowly before it all flows within your fingertips, a mini paragraph forming on your screen. You're writing in the heat of the moment, out of pure frustration and embarrassment. Most people would be able to forgive and forget but well…unfortunately you're not most people.

this place is relatively new in this city and as a coffee lover i was extremely enthusiastic to try this place out. my high hopes for this cafe were quickly crushed once i was (not even greeted) but completely mistreated by the tattooed barista.
i did not like this service, no matter how good the quality of the coffee was.
i do not think a barista should be talking to customers like this. i felt severely unwelcomed and i am having second thoughts on returning to this place.
there's better and kinder staff in other cafes in the city who i will gladly give my money too.
1 out of 5 stars.
Sure, it's a little…Karen but you feel petty. Highlighting all the adverbs makes you think that your english teacher from high school would be proud. There's a small feeling of guilt in the pit of your stomach as it dawns on you that your review will be the first one star review the company has ever had.
But this is not a baseless review. You actually felt this way at the time. It's a little exaggerated but who cares, they don't know you and they never will because you're not stepping foot there ever again.
There's not much satisfaction in the world that you can get other than pressing post on your review.
***
An hour later you've moved on with your life. You've settled into your home, following your post-work routine and you're now sitting on your couch. Your phone lights up with a notification and your eyes land on the screen.
You get a notification from your gmail that someone has mentioned you in a reply and with your thumb clicking on the message your eyes slightly widen.
The owner has replied to your message.
And for the first time it seems because they haven't seemed to reply to all the other positive messages on the site.
You'd forgotten that this was an option for them, simply thinking that your review would just get the employee removed. Your eyes skim over the reply.
From the Owner of Fuga in reply to anonymouscapybara45
Hello valued customer,
we apologise that you have had this experience recently, it is never our intention to make our customers feel this way. Our company and brand relies majorly on the respect and communication with our customers which is always taught and trained to our employees. We apologise for the actions and behaviour of our barista and on behalf of the company we would like to invite you to have any item on our menu free of charge over the course of the week. We would like to give you a seven day voucher and invite you back to a better atmosphere of our cafe to show you truly how we treat our customers.
Please pop into our cafe at your convenience. We look forward to seeing you and we apologise again for your experience.
Kind regards,
Fuga Owner (Jin Itadori)
Your mind is baffled.
Free drinks…for a week? Because of your bad review?
Not even the other low starred reviews have had this level of response from the owner. You're the first one star review they've had and they haven't even responded maliciously. You can't pass up on this good of an opportunity to have free coffee for the next week? You could be saving a ridiculous amount of money.
You re-read the review a few times to make sure that it still seems real to your eyes.
Maybe it will be the last time that you'll see that barista again.
**
You try your luck the following day. You're a bit more hopeful walking into the coffee shop the next day. It's a little less busier than the previous day and the queue is a little shorter.
But most important of them all, you don't see that tattooed jerk around.
This time serving the till is the white haired figure you saw making the drinks the last time you arrived. Behind them works another person that you haven't seen before who has their back turned making orders.
Soon enough it's your turn to go up to the till.
"Hello." They greet and almost immediately you feel comfortable that you won't be shunned for simply being a customer at this cafe.
"Good morning," you greet back with a smile before explaining your situation. "This may be a bit awkward but uhm, I was the customer who wrote a review of this cafe and uh— the owner said I was given a voucher as some sort of compensation."
For a second you thought you were scammed or that the entire thing was a lie just to catch the poor customer who's written terrible reviews but you watch as the wave of recognition hits the barista.
Instead they nod and say, "one moment" before turning around to head to the back. You shift from one foot to the other, patiently waiting and in the meantime thinking of what you'd want to get as your first free drink.
Your smile soon drops once you see the figure that follows the person that you were speaking to at the till.
That tattooed bastard.
His eyes widen slightly at the sight of you before turning into a miserable frown, clearly he wasn't expecting you to be the customer who wrote the review but there's also something that tells you that he's not totally surprised.
The white haired barista makes their way back to you, "If you go over to Sukuna he can help you with your voucher."
Sukuna. Now you know his name. And now you know he's somehow still employed by this damn coffee shop.
You walk over with hesitation and you can't help but notice Sukuna's eyes watching you as you make your over to a quiet area.
"It was you." he says but there's no bite to his tone. It's merely a statement he's making but you don't miss the judgement in his eyes.
"I was being honest." you shrug, holding your head high. You have no regrets whatsoever, you were merely giving constructive feedback about an environment that felt hostile to you. About a certain someone who was hostile.
Sukuna leans in a little closer to you, one hand placed on the counter as he speaks to you. "Because of you and your stupid review I have to serve you free drinks for a week, which is coming out of my pay by the way."
"Maybe it'll teach you how to speak nicer to customers." you retort back.
You notice his hand turning into a tight fist, gripping the counter, clearly holding back on responding to you. With his other hand he slides over a piece of paper. "Here's your damn voucher and, no I didn't write it, so what do you want?"
You tilt your head a little at him.
Sukuna corrects himself and in a deadpan monotone he starts over. "Hello. Welcome to Fuga. What would you like today?"
A satisfied smile reaches your lips. "Much better. I would like an iced strawberry matcha with oat milk please."
"Regular or large?"
"Hmm since it's on the house, large please."
"It's not on the house…" he mutters.
"What was that?"
"Nothing."
"Hmmmmm."
Sukuna disappears, diving into the hustle and bustle of his other colleagues making your own personal drink. As he makes your drink you look over your voucher, Sukuna's written today's date already and the expiry date is set seven days from now.
Once again, your order doesn't take him long and you spot your green and pink drink in his large hands. Approaching he hands your drink over to you which you thank before taking a sip.
On your tongue, the grassy flavour is immediately sedated by the sweetness of the strawberry at the bottom. There's the perfect amount of ice and matcha in your drink for you to enjoy and it takes everything in you not to fall to your knees and praise Sukuna on how great he's made this drink.
"Not bad." you murmur, downplaying your enthusiasm. "Can I get another free drink?"
"One per day stupid."
"The voucher doesn't clarify that, it's handwritten."
"I don't care."
"Would you like me to write another poor review?"
Now this is what gets Sukuna clenching his jaw together. He takes a pause, calming himself down before speaking to you again. "No anonymouscapybara45 I wouldn't like that because you got me in a lot of shit for this."
You don't flinch when he mentions your username. Ah, so he's read the review then. You quip back, "Your boss fire you yet?"
"No," and there's a slight pout, "he's just annoying the shit out of me at the moment."
"Hmm right, if you make me an iced vanilla latte with oat milk to go I think I might just refrain from writing a bad review about you for today."
You watch as he clenches his jaw in frustration. "Just this once. For the rest of the days you get one drink only."
"And a sweet treat!" you chime in.
Sukuna pauses, mulling over your suggestion. He lets out a sigh.
"A free drink and a snack." He offers.
"Deal." You outstretch your free hand to shake on.
Sukuna looks at your hand in pure disgust like you've just offered to spit in his mouth. "Deal. Just don't make my job harder than it needs to be." he mutters.
"I don't think I can promise that." you reply and you watch in pure satisfaction as he walks away mumbling to himself.
thank you for reading!! i hope you enjoyed :) i won't be running a taglist for this mini series (pls it is mini) but ya comments and reblogs are appreciated!!

.‧₊˚ part 2 ; fixing us (soon)
🎀 Based on a part of this request 🎀
You knew you shouldn't had done it.
It was reckless but it has to be done.
Jack hadn't said a word since he pulled you out of Trauma 2 by the arm.
He stood with his forehead pressed against the door, his hands on the door, breathing heavily, trying to hold back everything he had to say about what you had done. Struggling between his professional side and his lover side.
The age gap between the two of you had always been something you both navigated quietly, the twenty years of wear, loss and hard earned medical instincts that gave him those faint silver threads at his temples.
Usually, that difference felt like a safe harbor.
But tonight, right now, it felt like a burden.
"Jack-" you started, your voice trembling as you held the bleeding wound on your forearm.
"Don't," he snapped, his voice was cold, sharp, and vibrating with danger. You had never seen him direct at you that way.
He finally turned to face you, stepping into the center of the room. His jaw was clenched so hard the muscle jabbed against his skin.
"What were you thinking?" he asked, pointing a finger directly at you, his voice trembling despite his best efforts to keep it steady. "Answer me. What in God's name was going through your head back there?"
"The, the patient had a knife! He was escalating, and security was at the other end of the floor-"
"So you stepped in front of him?!" Jack raised his voice, a sharp laugh bursting from his throat before turning deadly serious again. "You stepped into the reach of an intoxicated patient holding a fucking knife, bare handed? Without gear, without training, without waiting five bloody seconds for back-up?!"
"He was going to hurt a nurse!" you shouted back, the adrenaline still coursing hot through your veins. "I was right there! I reacted!"
"You didn't react, you acted like a reckless child with a savior complex!"
The words hit you. You flinched, the sting of the insult cutting deeper than the actual slice on your arm.
Jack instantly closed his eyes, taking a deep breath, pressing two fingers to the bridge of his nose. But when he opened his eyes again, the fury hadn't faded, it had just shifted into something far darker, laced with terror.
"You could have been killed," he whispered, his voice dropping, trying to calm himself down. "Do you understand that? One inch to the right, one sudden movement, and he would have stab you on the chest. And I would have been dragging your body onto a gurney. I would have been the one running the code on my own girlfriend."
"I made a decision-"
"It was a stupid decision!" Jack slammed his hand down on the metal table. You flinched, with a mix of fear and hurt. "It was completely undeniably reckless! You aren't invincible. You think you're helping, but all you did was put yourself in fatal danger!"
He ran both hands through his hair, pacing the narrow length of the room. The angry on his face was agonizing to look at.
"This isn't a fucking videogame, he stabs you and you're gone," Jack murmured, his voice cracking slightly as he stopped pacing, looking at you with eyes that were red rimmed and filled with agony. "You can't do something so impossibly stupid, so utterly careless with your own life..."
He paused, swallowing hard, his chest heaving.
"I hate it when you're like this" he breathed, the words heavy and devastating. "How easily I could lose you because you don't respect how fast a life can end in this place."
Tears finally welled up in your eyes, slipping down your cheeks. "Jack, please..."
"No," he said softly, holding up a hand, refusing to let you touch him even as his own hands shook violently. "I need you to listen to me. I love you, baby. I love you so much it frightens me every damn day. I cannot watch you throw yourself into a fire just to prove you're brave. If you ever, ever, do something like that again, I won't be able to keep doing this."
He stood there for a moment, watching you cry.
Then, he reached into the cabinet, pulled out a strip of sterile bandages and an antiseptic wipe, and walked slowly over to you. "Come here,"
As his hand brushed against your skin, you pulled your arm back sharply, taking a sudden step away from him.
"Don't," you choked out, wiping the tears from your cheek with your shoulder. "I can do it myself."
Jack stopped, his hand hovering in mid air. A deep frustration crossed his features, pulling his brow down tight.
He had reached his absolute limit, the adrenaline and sheer terror of the night twisting his patience thin.
"Don't be immature," Jack said, his voice dropping into a firm tone. "Stop acting hysterical. You're bleeding, sit down and let me fix it."
The words immature and hysterical sliced through you, burning far worse than the cut on your arm.
The built up fear, the humiliation of being berated like a child, and the weight of his anger all exploded at once. You were done with him tonight.
"I said I can do it!" you gasped out, your voice cracking into a choked sob. You shoved at his chest, hard enough to pus him and make the boundaries clear. "Just go away! Leave me alone!"
Jack froze, taking a step back, shocked by the pain in your voice. But before he could say another word, the door opened.
Outside, Shen was by the doorway, listening. When he heard your voice, he step in. He took in the scene instantly: you backed from Jack, chest heaving and sobbing hysterically, and Jack standing over you with bandages in hand, looking stormily defensive.
Shen didn't hesitate for a second.
"Jack," Shen said, his voice was completely non negotiable as he stepped directly between him and you. "Out. Now."
"Shen, this isn't-" Jack started as he looked at him.
"I said out, Abbot," Shen interrupted, pointing firmly toward the open door. "You're done in here. I'll take care of her."
Jack looked from Shen back to you. You wouldn't meet his eyes, your head turned away as quiet sobs tore from your chest.
For a second, the anger in his eyes vanished, replaced by the realization of how he had just hurt you.
With a tight nod, Jack swallowed hard, set the bandage strip down and walked out without another word.
The rest of the night shift passed in a cold fog.
Shen had cleaned and bandaged the cut on your arm, giving you a little speech before sending you back out to work.
For the remaining four hours, you actively avoided Trauma Bays, took the long way around the nurse's station, and kept your head down whenever his figure in scrubs moved through the hallway.
Jack did the same. Whenever you were in the same general area, his presence felt impossibly heavy, but he never approached.
When 7 AM finally rolled around, you clocked out, feeling bruised down to your bones. You walked out to the parking garage, cold morning air biting at your face.
You half expected him to have left without you, but there he was.
Jack was leaning against the passenger side of his car, holding two paper cups of coffee from the cafeteria. He always drove you home after your shift. It was a rhythm you’d built together, a quiet ritual of transitioning from the madness of the ER back to normal life.
Neither of you spoke on the drive. The silence in the car felt suffocating.
When he finally pulled up outside your apartment building, Jack cut the engine. He didn't unbuckle immediately. Instead, he rested his hands on the steering wheel, staring straight ahead through the windshield before turning to look at you when you opened the car door to leave.
"Can we talk?" he asked quietly as you where already walking to the building with wet eyes. "Please."
You turned around, nodding slowly. You didn't want to bring him inside, so you two stayed in the hallway outside your apartment door, key resting heavy in your palm.
Jack stood a step away, his hands shoved deep into his jacket pockets.
"I shouldn't have raised my voice at you," Jack began, taking a breath and looking at youy. "And I shouldn't have... used those words. I was... terrified. I was out of my mind with fear, watching you put yourself in front of a blade like that. But I handled it wrong."
You swallowed down the lump in your throat, trying to keep your voice steady. "You spoke to me like I was a child, Jack. You called me immature and hysterical."
"Because you were acting on pure emotion!" Jack said, stepping a fraction closer, though his tone was defensive despite his apology. "You're a talented healthcare worker, but you lack the experience to know when a situation is beyond your pay grade. You rushed in without thinking about the consequences. That is impulse. That is a young and reckless reaction, and I can't just ignore it because it hurts your feelings to hear it."
His words settled over you heavily.
He is apologizing for how he said it, but not for what he thought.
Standing there, looking into his eyes, you saw it clearly. He didn't see an equal who had made a high stress judgment call in a chaotic trauma center. He saw a young, naive girl he had to manage and protect from her own foolishness.
The age gap between you wasn't just a number to him right now; it was a wall he was using to put himself above you.
A cold clarity washed over the anger, leaving behind an ache.
"You really see me like that, don't you?" you whispered, the realization pulling a broken breath from you. "Just a young, immature girl who doesn't know any better."
Jack blinked, panic entering his eyes by the calm of your voice. "That's not what I'm saying-"
"It is," you interrupted, shaking your head gently. "You think I'm too young to understand the risks, and you think you're the only one in this relationship who has any wisdom. Profesional and personal talking."
"I'm trying to keep you alive!" Jack snapped softly, reaching out to touch your arm, but dropping his hand when you took a small step back. "I care about you. I love you. But I've been doing this for longer than you've been in medicine. I know how this ends when people get careless."
"I know you love me," you said, tears brimming in your eyes again. "And I love you, too."
Jack let out a breath, his shoulders dropping slightly in relief. "Okay. Good. Then let's just go inside, get some sleep, and-"
"No," you said firmly, lifting your chin. "We need space. I need space."
Jack froze, his forehead furrowing. "What does that mean?"
"I'm not breaking up with you. But I see how you see me during some shifts. I'm going to ask to be switched to day shift for a few days," you said, your voice remarkably steady despite the tremble in your hands. "I need to work without you staring over my shoulder waiting for me to to fail and you need time to decide if you actually respect me as an adult, or if you just see me as someone you have to babysit."
Jack stared at you, stunned into silence. For the first time all night, the authority drained out of his posture, replaced by vulnerability.
"Day shift?" he repeated quietly, the reality sinking in. "We won't see each other at work. We won't even have the same sleep schedule."
"I know," you replied feeling your heart break and a tear escaping your eyes. You turned the key in the lock and opened your apartment door. "I don't liked how you talked to me tonight. I understand your point but I think that's what we need right now."
You stepped inside, but paused.
You looked back at him standing alone in the hallway. Despite everything, the sadness and terror in his eyes was still raw.
You leaned forward, rising on your tiptoes to press a soft kiss against his cheek.
Jack’s breath hitched. His hand shot forward, wrapping tightly around your waist, pulling you against him so suddenly it felt like a silent plea. He squeezed your waist with a desperate warmth, his whole body shaking as if he were trying to convince himself you were still whole and unhurt. For a fleeting second, he buried his face in the crook of your neck, his uneven breath felt hot against your skin.
He wanted to hold on. He wanted to pull you back inside the safety of his arms, but the unspoken wall of his condescension still stood cold and immovable between you.
You gently placed your hand over his wrist and slowly pushed back.
His grip loosened with agonizing slowness, his fingers lingering on your waist as if letting go was tearing something out of him. He lifted his head, his eyes glossy, and completely shattered by the realization that his own need to protect you had pushed you away.
"Get some sleep, Jack," you whispered, your voice breaking on his name. "I will... I will text you later. Okay?"
His hand finally slipped off your side.
He didn't speak. He couldn't. He just nodded.
You stepped into the safety of your apartment and pulled the door shut. The click echoed down the hallway, leaving him standing in the cold alone. Regretting all he has said.
being married to jack means sleeping on your tummy with one thigh hitched over his waist when he sleeps on his back. his broad hand & chubby wrist holding onto your warm skin, fingers curled around your thigh. you’re basically sleeping on top of him as he wiggles a little closer, lifting your leg up further so he can press his morning hard-on against the soft swell of your cunt.
one hand spreading your cheeks so he can wedge himself into you, while his foot plants flat on the mattress. a low, sleepy, raspy groan “fuuck.” oozing out of him as he settles himself inside.
when you stir, pushing your leg further into his tummy to keep him close, he’s instantly going for the kiss. hips bucking up in circles as he lazily laps at your tongue, “good morning, baby. kiss?”
slooooooooowwww makeout and fucking at 8am on his off-day </3

Start shit across town and split the cops’ resources. “Open a second front” so to speak and take some of the heat off of the people they have absolutely no qualms about harming. pairing: trainee!peter parker x trainee!reader
summary: peter's spidey tingles fail to work during training, purely because you're in the room, but what's even worse is that you have questions to ask about it.
wc: 1.1k+
The loud crunch of a nose breaking in the training room has you swinging around to find the victim, in turn giving Natasha the perfect target on your face to throw a petty punch at the fact that you've let your guard down. You stumble back with a pained noise, glaring at your mentor before looking back towards the sound of cartilage breaking. On the opposite side of the mat, Peter stands clutching his nose, blood already dripping behind his hand and onto his shirt. In front of him, Tony stands with his hands on his hips, face unimpressed.
“You’re next if you keep staring.” Natasha warns, and you huff, lifting your hands in front of your face again. “I just thought he got like… spidey tingles.” Natasha smirks behind her fists, throwing another punch at you. You block your face from her throw, adding “Like how can he save the city from supervillains but not stop a punch from Mr. Stark?”
Natasha rolls her eyes at your words, increasing the pace of her punches. You know it’s her way of trying to tell you to focus, but you have more questions to ask her. You send a kick her way, gaining the time in which she stumbles back to ask “And how does he get- Ouch!” Natasha laughs loudly as you double over, clutching your stomach. “Not cool, I have questions!”
“I thought your superpowers came with a spidey tingle too?” She mumbles, and you immediately retort with “That’s never been a part of my powers!”
“Okay calm down and go fix Parker’s nose. Don’t want to waste the medical team’s time with another broken nose.” You blink quickly as Natasha immediately walks away, searching around the training room to find where Peter is sitting on a bench, wiping blood on his shorts, and then where Natasha is joining Mr. Stark to inevitably make fun of their recruits. 'Their recruits' obviously being you and Peter.
You walk up to Peter despite only having spoken to him a handful of times about how Natasha might kill you before making you a hero. Peter looks up when your feet enter his ray of vision, and you smile pitifully at the way his nose lays crooked on his face. “It’s pretty bad, right?” He asks, the dried blood on his face cracking on his skin when he smiles at you. You nod, sitting next to Peter on the bench. “Natasha wants me to fix up your nose.”
Peter’s eyes go wide and his mouth gapes open as he points to his broken nose. “Um, my -” You nod, finishing his sentence for him. “Nose. Changing room?” Peter sighs, standing up and shrugging his shoulders. He could definitely pop his nose back in on his own, but he follows you to the changing room anyway, trying not to let his eyes linger on your legs for too long. He touches the area around his nose, wincing slightly. It’ll heal fast after you pop it back in, so he’s not really worried about that. What he’s more concerned about is the way you carefully dab a damp towel across his skin to clean the blood off, and more importantly, how hard his heart is beating after.
The pain is nothing compared to the care you display, and he’s surprised that you’re Natasha’s super tough recruit with the strong reputation. His lips quirk up into a smile when you stuff the towel under the running water again, squeezing the blood out before bringing it back up to his face. “Stop smiling.” You order, but your own lips tighten as you smile. He laughs, his entire upper body moving with the sound, and you take the towel away from his face while he goes still for you.
You wipe away the last of the dried blood on his face before tossing the towel into the sink. You gently take Peter’s wrists in your hands, looking at the blood that has settles into the lines on his palms, and you guide them towards the sink, turning the tap on again. He holds his hands out for you to pump hand soap into them, even though he’s not exactly sure why he does. You stand next to him as he washes his hands, catching his eye through the mirror. He’s trying to think of a conversation starter, but struggles to. After all, as the only two recruits for the team, you must have so much in common, so why isn’t he able to speak to you?
“My spidey tingle usually helps.” Peter says, and your head snaps towards him, eyes widening in surprise. “But not too much when I’m distracted.” You giggle at his words, tilting your head to the side as Peter turns away from you to dry his hands. “Aren’t you supposed to be most focused during sparring?” You question, and Peter ducks his head down, trying to hide his smile from you as he breathes out a short laugh.
“Yeah, I guess. But I find your presence… enticing.” Your eyebrows lift up at the unexpected words, and you search in Peter’s eyes for anything to reveal his emotions. “Come on, don’t just leave me hanging like that. You have to finish your thought.”
Peter rolls his shoulders back, tossing his head back as he groans. “I don’t know, you intrigue me.” He says, and you grin widely, asking “You find me enticing and intriguing, it sounds like I have you in the palm of my hand.” Peter’s face flushes darkly and he shyly turns his eyes away from you, unable to meet the confidence you display. “It’s okay, I find you intriguing too. I keep finding myself trying to discover more about you.” Peter swallows thickly, slowly bringing his eyes up to observe your posture. You lean your hip against the counter, one ankle crossed over the other, your arms laying by your sides. You’re not hiding anything from him through your body language, one hand carefully laid on the wet counter as you look up at him, a playful smile on your lips.
“Okay, please don’t start making out against the wall.” Both your heads snap towards Tony, who has just walked into the room. Peter rolls his eyes at his mentor, though his face flushes all the same, but you just cross your arms and turn towards Mr. Stark, watching as he walks towards a locker. You keep his eyes on him the entire time he’s in the changing room, and he glances back towards you a couple of times with a smirk. He raises his hands up in surrender and rushes out of the room with his things in hand, and it’s only when the door swings shut that you turn back towards Peter. “Maybe we can start with getting to know each other a little better.”
Peter nods, adding quietly “Yeah, it’d be nice to get close to the only other person the same age.”
“Then we can work our way up to making out against the wall.”
pope & his inability to let anyone else near you… like ever.
you’re making a sandwich for you & him at the kitchen island, colorful bikini & sun-warmed skin that smells like coconuts. your back to the fridge, you can see craig trying to scooch by you in your peripheral.
now craig’s a big guy, so it’s going to take a bit of manuevering to get by you (not that he’s complaining). so when he reaches out a tattooed, thick arm to press against the small of your back in a silent “excuse me,” pope’s already on it.
somehow he manages to puff up his chest & look even bigger than his younger brother. “go the other way, bro.” quite literally standing in front of the passage between your back and the fridge.
when craig rolls his eyes, “whatever, man” and goes the other route of the kitchen island, pope cuddles closer to you. head hanging on your shoulder so you can lovingly run your hand along the back of his neck while he pouts, “takin’ too long. come sit with me.”
