"What did you say your name was again, sir?" You cautiously asked the dark haired and bearded man with blue eyes next to you.
You really hoped you heard wrong-
"It's Jim. Jim Matthews, " He offhandedly answered while his gaze remained on the fallen tree before you, which the four of you - which is yourself, Jim, his son and Mo'- were examining.
Oh fu-
"And I'm Ethan! Ethan Matthews, and I know who you are too!" The cherub looking boy then chirped at you with a beam from where he stood on the tree, which you couldn't help but return with a smile of your own, even though you were experiencing quite the crisis from the inside.
No. This isn't real ...
But how would you have imagined Mo' if he wasn't real, seeing as you have never met him, and you were certain you weren't dreaming this all up.
Just a coincidence. You then firmly settled on with a blank gaze which bored through the tree in front of you, with the crows- the murder- cawing in amusement at you all.
Your attention was then pulled by the boy in front of you who was going to slip, which you immediately jumped in action to, almost forgetting the situation at hand.
"Oh! Careful, little guy, here I got you." You softly spoke when you held your arms to the boy to steady him, which he thanked you for with a smile, which his father returned as well to you.
"Thank you, that could have been quite the fall." Jim then spoke with a shake to his head, before he turned to you and Mo' who was trying to reach for service on his phone.
Which you were certain of- he would not receive, even though you were praying that this all was just some cosmic joke, and that it would all turn back to normal soon..
"Still no service?" Jim asked, which Mo' shook his head to with a frown.
"No." He slowly said, before he returned his troubled gaze to you all, which Jim then thoughtfully nodded to, his expression now elsewhere.
"Alright, I guess we have to turn back, and take another road because there is no geting through the tree." He told you all, before he took Ethan into his arms to put him on the ground, to return to the van, which Mo' and you then did as well.
"All will be okay." Were the last words Mo' told you before he closed the door of the car in your face.
You hoped so as well, you thought in utter dread, before you straightened your gaze in front of you.
No...No, no, NO! Ah hell naw! You thought in horror when your gaze met the town and its people in front of you, especially when they were all attending a funeral of a sort- which looked very familiar to you...And the rest of the people of the town as well, well those you know of...from the show.
"They just told me to ride straight on the road, not very helpful at all!" Jim complained when he met the both of you from where you stood before the cemetery, but your mind was elsewhere- and felt faint.
Oh. You then thought in realisation, as if you weren't experiencing it firsthand- you were fainting, you realised before everything turned dark, while the last thing you heard were some muffled shouts in the background.
I'm utterly fucked.
"Oh thank god!" You heard Mo' utter in gratitude when you came to, which you frowned at before your eyes finally opened to the scene in front of you.
You were laying in a hospital bed in a very decrepit and old looking hospital that had seen better days- a familiar one.
Fuck. It's real.
Oh no, no-
"Ah you're finally up!" A kind voice then called out from beside you, and turning towards it you were met with the kind face of the nurse who worked alongside Kristi in season one of FROM, for you did not know or remember her name...
You looked blankly at her entrance, and even more at that of the man in the wheelchair she was holding onto then.
Kenny's dad. Bing-Qiang Liu, who greeted you with a kind smille, which your face cracked at for a milisecond before you slowly gave him a small smile of your own, which simply was a miniscule upturn of your mouth.
But they weren't focused on that, for they dismissed it before, the lady continued.
"I'm your nurse, Mary by the way. You've taken quite the fall," She told you in worry, before she explained that you had been unconcious for a couple of hours now, which made you jump straight into a sitting position on your bed, which she shouted at in worry.
Ah god, that was a mistake for your head hurt immensely now.
"Owww" you couldn't help but grumble, which Mo' chuckled at.
"Yes, that happens especially when you've woken up after some trauma- which could be because of an iron deficiency..." Mary then thoughtfully spoke, making you slowly turn your gaze back to her, which she kindly smiled at before she told you that after she brought Bing-Qiang to his room, that she would get you some water and medicine to help with the headache, which you thanked her for before you watched the older gentleman wave to Mo' and you in goodbye, with Mo' clapping him on his shoulder in response, which Kenny's dad chuckled at before he made the other man promise to play chess with him afterwards, which Mo' afer a moment of hesitation agreed on, before he finally turned his kind gaze back to yours.
"It is good that all is well." Mo' then gently told you, before his gaze turned apologetic.
"I'm sorry but I think you have missed your flight already what with the time that had been lost.."
"It's not your fault, Mo'. It's no ones..." You then answered before you tried to stand up from the bed, which he hurried to help you with.
"Careful, careful."
"Thanks, Mo'." You gratefully told him, which he only grinned at, which you couldn't help but stare at for a single moment before you turned your gaze away before it could get weird.
How long is he going to be this happy, you sadly thought. Before this place, like with anyone in it- would wrench it away from him...especially when he realises that they're stuck here now, and that no one is going to return home...
Before you could wallow in those thoughts your attention was pulled by someon walking into the room- and especially by a familiar voice.
Sara's.
She was talking to someone- Toby, your mind then supplied, before all the colour left your face when you realised what was about to happen.
"...this isn't your fault." You heard her gently say to a confused looking Toby before you jumped her, making her and all the other occupants of the room shout in shock at the suddenness of it all, but you were only focused on Sara, who's widened eyes met your fierce ones.
"Do not listen to it, that voice isn't god, Sara. He lies." You firmly told her before wrenching the would be weapon from her grasp and throwing it away from you all.
"What the fuck!" You then heard the man, Toby shout, before you heard him hyperventilate from the shock of it all, with Mo' trying, but failing to calm him down- seeing as he too, was still in shock.
You and me both, dude. You thought before you pulled the confused, and still wide eyed Sara up from the ground, taking her hand in yours towards the exit.
"How do you know that...you know my name, how- who are you?" She nervously demanded, before she willingly followed you out of the door.
"I'll explain, but do not under any circumstance listen to that voice again- in any way, for no true god would want any of their children to be harmed, no?He's lying about what would happen to your brother, for it would have happened if you listened to the voice, Sara." You then hurriedly told her, even with your brain being in a tiff by everything, especially at the fact that you were now truly in it now.
We stuck in this now, babes T T
