People come into the studio all the time asking for strength. Whether it’s core strength, arm strength, leg strength, etc. They know that strength takes consistency and practice, but what they don’t realize is that it takes SKILL to even learn how to generate tension in musculature to even attempt to lift that heavy weight. It takes skill to know how to turn on your butt musculature, your Lats, or your abs. Then it takes SKILL to regulate, or turn up the muscular contraction in these specific muscles. Are you at 10% effort? Are you at 100% effort? Do you even know what 100% effort feels like? This may be hard just thinking about perfecting this skill in your big muscle groups, but realize that there are HUNDREDS of muscles in your body.
