When hip flexors are tight, we can experience pain in the lower back and hips. Ideally you should take a couple minutes everyday and do this circuit and see if it helps with lower back pain! Lower back pain can be cause by a number of different things, but tight hip flexors could be one of them. This circuit includes stretches and exercises that relax and strengthen the hip flexors to allow us to have proper recruitment patterns and get our abs firing when they should. Do those movements on a daily basis, low intensity and just practice connecting to your abs! CIRCUIT 2-3X THROUGH ❤🔥 1⃣ Pelvic Thrust: 10 reps (it’s okay to have a natural arch) press back against the floor and engage abs holding 3-6 seconds. 2⃣ Hip Flexor Stretch: 30 seconds each side 3⃣ Cat Cow: 10 reps 4⃣ Alternating Bird Dog: 10 reps 5⃣ Deactivated Hip Flexor Ab Crunch: 10 reps keep hips around 1 inch off the floor and engage glutes when doing this.
