Hello! I'd like to apologize in advance for my lack of English, as it's not very fluent. This is a question about sexuality, specifically looking for a label that explains our experience. Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask, and you& can ignore this question/gen.
First of all, I'm part of a system and I'm the host of that system, I'm the result of a fusion between our former host and our former co-host, we exist as three different individuals in a certain way, the closest way I can explain it is Garnet from Steven Universe. Also, something important is that we're both autistic, so how we interpret gender is quite peculiar, but we're both agender and transman at the same time.
The point we wanted to make is that, personally, we're more attracted to femininity and androgyny, but at the same time, we don't have a problem with dating men or with their gender being aligned with masculinity, but at the same time, dating someone extremely masculine makes us feel strange in a negative way, although when it's fictional/Imagined, we don't have any problem with it, which is strange, at least for us.
At first, we thought it might be linked to the fact that we're part of the AroAce spectrum, and our only and last partner (QRP) was someone with whom we'd had a very strong connection and attachment (this person was a trans man when we were dating; them's currently an agender person).
But we still wanted to see if there could be some kind of explanation or label that could describe these feelings.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience/gen
Not an inconvenience at all! This is exactly the kind of stuff we are looking to be asked.
So, you only brought up androgyny, femininity, and masculinity, so we assume you aren't attracted to neutrality, xeninity, outherinity, and aporinity.
This would be best described through laurian/berri- (berrisexual, berriromantic, berriplatonic, etc). It describes attraction to feminine genders, androgynous genders, with occasional attraction to masculine genders.
You can also use ply-/poly-. It describes attraction to some, but not all, genders. Berri- falls under poly-/ply-.
However, if you are attracted to all genders except for ones that are fully-aligned with masculinity, the following terms may be useful to you:
Noma-: Attraction to all genders except for men. This also falls under ply.
Nomin-: Attraction to all genders except for masculine ones. Nominflexible may be more applicable, as you are attracted to masculine genders to an extent.
You could also be omni-. Omni- is a person who is attracted to all genders but has preferences or is attracted to them in different ways. In this case, it would be attraction to all genders, but only liking masculine genders if they aren't overtly masculine presenting.
And if you like all genders, but only when they are feminine-presenting or androgynous-presenting, flixi- may appeal to you.
Whether you are ply or omni, you can also identify as bi-. Bi is the attraction to 2 or more genders.
As for your attraction to masculinity only being in a fictional or imagined sense, you should look into aego- attraction and ficto- attraction!
