I FINISHED MY FIRST DRAFT!!!
At 29 chapters, 221 pages (on google docs), and 63,132 words... I am overwhelmed with emotions, friends. I can’t believe I finished writing this beast, or that it all fell out of my brain and I managed to rearrange everything into semi-understandable stuff. At this point, I’ve appointed two trusted alpha-readers (is that a thing?) to read over the draft and give me some ideas that I can riff off of besides my own notes I’ve taken throughout the first draft... then, in maybe a week (or two, if I can tear myself away for that long) I’ll get started on the second draft.Â

This week, I have finished the first draft to the next book in the Codename Omega series. This book is a little bit different from the others in that series because I’ve switched viewpoint. The first three books were told from Jenny’s perspective but in this one, we get to see the fight through someone else’s eyes. It’s been a really fun POV to write.
I think it’s a good sign when I come out of the end of writing book four and immediately want to launch into writing book five. I know how book five is going to be begin and what the main conflict of that story is going to be centred on.
The book has the working title of Codename Blank Slate and the ending is slightly less evil than the ending of the previous couple of books. I mean, it’s still evil, but it contains hope for how things could get better.

Late last night, I finished the first draft of THE HANGMAN. Lord knows it has taken me long enough to complete it. But it is done. I sent sister a PDF copy as she has a MAC and I utilize a desktop PC. Hopefully she’ll get through the first edit quickly. Editing does take time and patience due to the fact we perform a lot of edits of our novels to make them as correct as possible, We both…

First Draft, New Start!
So I just began brainstorming some new ideas for a book I may write, and I guess I took those ideas to my advantage! I intend on going over my prologue so far editing it and what not. Certainly once it is finished I will post a link of it on here for you guys to check It out! Now the main character does suffer from some psychological problems which was my intent, to spread awareness to others. Not to make fun of them in any shape or form, my book shall be a mystery/thriller mixed with a bit of horror. I hope you guys are excited as I am when it comes to me starting my first book!

I just finished the first draft of my novel.

Never even thought I could make it this far. Really. I never believed it. Now, onto rewriting and then taking a break from this project for a bit and tTHEN ONTO EDITING!
I just finished the first draft of my new book, Balurang. I wrote for 4 hours straight and banged out the whole epilogue at once. I'm so happy to have gotten this story on paper! Now to finish editing Melidora and try to find out how to hire a publicist.
