Health professionals from Spain and Auckland visited the exercise clinic at Genesis Cancer Care to see how we run things as part of their tour with ECU’s Exercise Medicine Research Centre. One by one my students are finishing their practicum and heading off to exams and new careers. It has been fun having them in the clinic and the clients enjoy the one-on-one training too. I hope I have helped instill a love for the work as well as professional skills. Cal has been with me for the longest this year: he’s been great AND he brought me a homemade goodbye cupcake!
