Meeting a friend after work for drinks.
Got my workout in. Minimum, yes. But done is done and the streak moves on!
Dinner was a whopper and 10 PC chicken nuggies. Took home and used my sugar free BBq sauce.

I snack late at night. The only way Iβve been able to break this bad behavior in the past is go to bed early.
On my iWatch Iβm trying to build the healthy habit of moving a minimum amount every day. Iβm at day 72/100. I hope to keep the streak after 100 days but I plan to up the game with a new streak of >6000 steps every day. I used to do 10,000 steps every day with ease. I was in a very good place with my diet and exercise routines. I want to be there again.

I thought I was doing the 7 Minute Workout about once a week (my goal is twice) so I was shocked that in reality it's been averaging on 1,5 times per month π
Time to challenge myself with the 30 day full body workout challenge from the 7 Minute Workout app! I got 6 in, it only takes around 5 minutes a day. You can only see the next day's workout and sometimes it surprises you with a rest day π. Also, the exercises vary each day which is nice bc I get bored easily. π€
Day 23: NTC strength workout
I did Bettina Gozo's 30 day plan last winter and liked it, so I seek out her workouts now when I need a day.
Day 24: long run!
I really wanted to go for this run. And it even had some serious hills. Constantly amazed that this running thing has caught on.
Day 25: yoga!
Day 26: NTC strength workout
See? Bettina. Intense but only after the fact.
Day 27: lunch run
Physically, I didn't want to go for this run, but mentally I really did. So I went, even though my legs were feeling yesterday's workout. But it was gorgeous outside, and I know I won't get a chance to run tomorrow, so there you have it. A very mediocre but good run.
Day 19: NTC routine.
I feel like half the exercises in the Nike app aren't in the Garmin library, so I'm just making things up to log them.
Day 20: longer yoga with deep stretches
Day 21: free space. Fun fact: hit 14,444 steps. Commute + lunchtime walk.
Day 22: I so meant to go for a run but I just. Needed to do other things with my lunch break. And I wanted a slight rest after my commute day. So many excuses, like anyone is invested besides me. I did a lunchtime yoga then ran errands.
Hopefully a decent run tomorrow.

Day seventeen!
I didn't get out in the morning, so my 4pm on a Saturday run was, of course, a delightful obstacle course of strollers and groups and general tourist meandering. I didn't even go anywhere near downtown. But people were good about sharing space, and I finished with an unintentional sharp uphill. Thrilling.
Day eighteen!
I got caught by two traffic lights (and increased traffic meant I couldn't just go on like usual), keeping me from my nonstop mile goal, so I added on a bit. Figured out a decent loop for a slightly less crowded sidewalk.
Now: cookies.
Day fourteen! Free space! It was very rainy and dreary all day, compounded by feeling the flu/booster shot combo enough to nap for an hour in the afternoon, meaning I definitely took the day off even though I had time for a run.
Day fifteen! NTC workout my arms are tired oh no
I knew I wanted to go for a longer, real run on Friday but my vague plans are such that it'd be best to do the run before noon. So I didn't really want to run after work too. And I'm in a positive state about this streak(ish), so I'm perfectly happy to change things up. Hence, NTC workout. I'm still going to shoot for 6/7 days of exercise for at least another two weeks. Maybe longer!
Day thirteen! utterly got away from me. I couldn't steal away from my desk even for a quick mile, and after work it was rainy and cold and I went to get arm pokes and then it was dark and I still needed dinner... π«
I did some yoga. With Adrienne. Good enough.
