Season One
Amon/Noatak
Monopolizing Type: He would isolate you from the rest of the world and make sure you solely rely on him. Amon would typically monitor your every move, restrict who you talk to, and again ensure you rely entirely on him for survival. (Dawg can be lil dickhead sometimes)
Savior Type: He believes that only he can "save" or "cleanse" you. Amon views the world as inherently corrupt. He would project this onto you, believing that society is poisoning you and that his control is the only way to keep you pure and safe.
Extra
He would strip away your identity: If you are a bender, his ultimate "act of love" would be to permanently sever your bending. In his mind, your powers are a curse that connects you to a corrupt world. Taking them away makes you entirely dependent on him and forces you into his version of an ideal, safe reality.
His a gaslighter and a manipulator: He would use psychological warfare. He would make you believe that your friends, family, and the outside world are dangerous threats to your safety, positioning himself as your only protector.
No mindless slaughter: Amon would not go around and killing people. He wouldn't kill your friends out of a sudden fit of rage. Instead, he would carefully ruin their lives, frame them, or have his Equalist forces imprison them, completely erasing your old life without ever getting blood on his own hands in front of you.
End note: he wouldn't hurt you physically unless it's absolutely necessary (folk WILL blame you for it btw if he does end up hurting you physically) But he'll hurt you emotionally/mentally anything to keep you in line. The only way you can survive is literally just staying on his good side(• ▽ •;)
Season Two
Unalaq
(oh brother. This guy stinks. )
Fanatical and a mix with a Corruptor Type: He views his actions as a divine mission. He believes your current state of being (especially if you are tied to the material world) is "unbalanced" and that only he can usher your soul into true spiritual enlightenment.
Extra
Spiritual Brainwashing: He will isolate you from your family by convincing you that they are spiritually bankrupt and blind to the "true world."
Soul Binding: Unalaq wouldn't just lock your body up; he would want to trap your spirit. He would likely use Dark Spirit magic to corrupt your soul or tie your life force directly to his or Vaatu’s.
He IS Willing to Destroy You: If you stubbornly refuse to see his vision, his fanatical nature takes over. He would conclude that your mortal form is "holding you back", and he would willingly "cleanse" (destroy) your physical body to "save" your spirit in the Fog of Lost Souls.
End note: pray to whatever or whoever you believe in because dawg is someone who does NOT play around.
Eska
Possessive Type mixed with the Dominant/Abusive Type: She treats you as literal property, a pet, or a prized possession. Her love is dictatorial, demanding absolute obedience and compliance.
Extra
Literal Shackles Dawg: As seen in the show, she will use her bending to literally chain you to her side. There is no subtlety here; you wear her collar, and you go where she goes.
Immediate Death Threats: Any person who speaks to you, looks at you, or even breathes in your direction is a target. She will not hesitate to eliminate rival suitors right in front of you without blinking. (Oh Eska you'd love 2020-2023 prime Twitter)
Personality Eradication: Do you like having free will? WELL SAY GOODBYE TO THAT. She will choose your clothes, your food, and dictate your thoughts. If you show a hint of rebellion, she doesn't get sad she gets violently offended, viewing your independence as a personal insult to her affection.
End note: you'll be okay-ish if you play along or you're into it
Desna
Stalker Type and Dependent Type: He doesn't scream at you; he simply silently clings himself to your existence. He acts like a shadow that you can never shake off, draining away your autonomy through persistence.
Extra
His a "Little" Creepy: Desna will stand at the foot of your bed, in the corner of your room, or outside your window, just watching. He doesn't say anything, which doesn't make it any better.
Guilt through Apathy: If you try to leave him, he won't throw a tantrum like Eska. Instead, he will calmly state that without you, his existence is entirely meaningless, using a deadpan, lack of emotion to make you feel like a monster for wanting freedom.
End note: Desna is alright, I think generally you can somehow escape him but not completely escape him, his alright but not at the same time, really depending on you gang
Season Three
Zaheer
Fanatical Type: Kinda the same as Amon. He views his obsession with you as a destiny. He believes society's rules and attachments are poisoning your true potential, and only he can show you real freedom.
Extra
His Typical Isolation: He will dismantle your belief system. He won't lock you in a traditional cage; he will take you to a remote, lawless place and convince you that everyone else in the world is a tyrant who wants to use you.
"Freedom" But Not Really Freedom: To Zaheer, the ultimate love is helping you "untether from the earth." If you refuse to accept his love, he might literally use airbending to asphyxiate you to the brink of death, calmly explaining that he is helping you let go of your worldly attachments so you can finally be one with him.
NO Mercy to Outsiders: If your friends try to save you, he will assassinate them without an ounce of hatred or anger. He will view their deaths as a necessary, peaceful clearing of "chaos" to protect your shared peace.
End note: Best case scenario team avatar saves you because they have plot armour and you CANNOT escape by yourself for this one.
Ghazan
Dependent/Enabler Type and Monopolizing Type: One of the most laid back yandere here tbh. He acts like a cool, supportive partner who just wants you to have fun, but..he systematically destroys your ability to function without him.
Extra
Burning Bridges: Ghazan takes the phrase "burning bridges" literally. If you try to run away to your home city, he will turn the city into a lake of lava. He won't hurt you directly, but he will completely destroy your entire past life, your family's home, and your hometown so that you have absolutely nowhere else to go but his side.
Mood Shifts: He is relaxed until you try to leave. The moment you show signs of rejection, his casual demeanor instantly drops into an quiet rage. He will dead ass put your life in danger but like in a controlled environment and will make you think twice.
End note: his by far the only safest member you could possibly be with if he were a yandere, just don't try to leave then you'll be fine.
Ming-Hua
Explosive Type: She is already unstable and erratic as her cannon self how much more for a yan! Ming-Hua😭? She is entirely driven by raw, unchecked impulse. Her love is chaotic, and she lacks the emotional maturity to handle rejection or boundaries.
Extra
Physical Confinement: She will use her water tentacles to wrap around you like a constriction snake. You are physically bound to her body or frozen inside a hollow ice sphere where she can look at you whenever she wants.
She's Easily Jealous: If anyone so much as looks at you, Ming-Hua will drive an ice spike through them before they can even finish their sentence. She does not plan or hide her crimes; she kills rivals openly and violently.
Self-Harm/Threats: If you try to push her away, she will lose her mind. She will threaten to hurt herself and then you in the process or cut down everything around you in a blind frenzy until you apologize and console her.
End note: she is one hell of a woman escaping is not a choice the only time you can actually be free is once she dies but as long as she is alive you are TRAPPED brochacho
P'Li
Stalker and Executioner Type: She acts as a silent guardian angel. She steps into the shadows to eliminate any threat, stressor, or person who causes you even a moment of unhappiness.
Extra
Impenetrable Wall: She won't let anyone get within fifty feet of you. She views the world as an inherently abusive place that wants to exploit you, just like the warlord exploited her.
Total Submission to You (Until You Leave): She is incredibly gentle and subservient to you personally, letting you make choices, that is...until you try to leave her. If you try to run, she will target your legs with a precision blast, blowing up the ground in front of you to force you to your knees, weeping as she tells you that she cannot let you go back to a world that will hurt you.
Ending note: same as the rest, just being on her good side will be good enough to not cause trouble
Season Four
Kuvira
Obsessive Type: She views you as her personal responsibility and property. Just as she sought to "unite" the Earth Empire under her singular vision, she would seek to completely integrate her partner's life into her own.
Tyrant / Ruler Type: She dictates what is best for you. Her affection is structural, demanding submission not out of malice, but out of a deeply warped belief that only she can protect and provide for them.
Isolation via Bureaucracy: She will not lock you in a basement. Instead, she will assign you a high ranking position within her inner circle, ensuring you are constantly surrounded by her loyal guards and completely isolated from outside influences.
"Greater Good" Justification: If she hurts you or someone you care about, she will justify it as a necessary sacrifice for your long term safety. Her conscience is completely shielded by her ideology.
The Need of Compliance: Disagreement is framed as betrayal. She expects absolute loyalty and will view any desire for personal autonomy as a sign that you are unsafe and need tighter supervision.
