What if some fiction-kins are actually plural / silly
ok, i know most people justifiably don't want to talk about syscourse stuff, and you by all means can just ignore this ask, but you are the first person i've seen say your open to learning more so i wanted to have a conversation with you about it. before you ask, no i am not endogenic, nor even a system, i just know people who are. can you give an elaboration on your thoughts about them? I promise i'm not trying to start shit i'm genuinely just curious as imo, at the very least the plural communities emphasis on trying to sniff out the "true" systems via their trauma history and how well they match the DID standard in the DSM is counterproductive for people feeling safe to say the very least. The more systems i talk to/listen to, the more varied i realize the plural community is, and it just seems kinda silly to be gatekeeping based off of the DSM of all things, though i suppose i'm biased being very much in support of mad liberation.
sorry for the ramble in your ask box, i just want to hear someone else's opinion on this and have an actual conversation about it. have a good day/night! :3

So for me, I have been tested for dissacotive disorders and while I scored very high and already have a diagnosis of PTSD (and medically confirmed BPD) I don’t know if I’m a system. If I am a system, I have a lot of aspects that don’t line up for me- so like I would probably be a median system, I don’t have a headspace etc.
But regardless, here’s some thoughts
- obviously plurality is more common then we think
- I’m worried about cultural appropriation witj tulpamancy
- I’m worried about psychosis playing apart of this and being under diagnosed in a lot of these situations and especially commands with their being persecutors and stuff
- I don’t belive in medical gatekeeping, it’s a fucking nightmare dealing with capatlism and psychiatric cárcel issues
- I support well researched self diagnosis- I am irritated though when I see white, upper middle/rich people who don’t pursue it (both irl and online with examples lile Elon musk being privlaged enough and refusing- I will discredit self diagnosis in that case)
- I am for mad liberation, and stop pathologizing things like system hood as needing fusion to be fixed
- I am anti fake claiming at pretty much all costs (except for dipshits like Elon musk, yes I’m aware I’m contridctory with that)
Overall I just want the best healthcare and treatment possible for everyone that wants it and our system doesn’t allow for that- I honestly just don’t understand systems without truama? Or without some sort of other mental disorder behind it? I’m anti harrasment and if navigating the world as a system helps them so be it I just don’t understand the nuances as to why without having a mental health issue or genuinely being connected to a culture that has pularitly- which online tulpamancy is not.
I appreciate the kindness a lot and I can always learn more especially since this isn’t my lived experience- whether I’m a system or not I would be truamagenic so I don’t know what it’s like navigating an endo experience. I will say I do wish endo wasn’t short for endogenic as it becomes harder to find endometriosis focused spaces on tumblr with that shortening

Whenever someone asks about endos i hate when ppl respond with "systems formed without trauma" so i say "systems that formed for reasons besides trauma" because the former just makes it sound like endos dont have any trauma ever
ive always hated how antiendos only say theyll support endos if there is "valid medical proof" (even though there already is)
like.. excuse you? you will dismiss, harass and downplay us, but you switch up when someone shoves proof down your throat.
and yet, i have skepticisms that any of you will follow through with this promise. there are plenty of medical documents that give proof or very heavy suggestion to endogenic plurality and you still turn your nose up and choose to not pay attention.
(sorry j. saw a post on a blog about some new plural app and they phrased endo sys/plurals as delusions and said they'd fully support if there was real solid evidence and i got PISSED off)
