Interested in journaling with Tarot?

I’ve created a guide for those who are seeking to begin a Tarot journal! It includes how to get started, what to include, journaling prompts, and Tarot learning exercises. I’ve based the prompts and exercises included in this guide on my own Tarot journal and how I learned Tarot myself. There’s a lot of information that I’ve packed in here and I’m hoping to one day put together a second, additional guide on Tarot journaling.

What do you think of me?

Card: Temperance. Balance, harmony, purpose, moderation, patience, synergy, find meaning.

Basically— Persephone sees potential in me. She sees good energy, potential, peace, and drive. She sees effort. I’d take this as a good card and as her saying, “you are so good, you have so much things to work with. You can grow from your buds into a beautiful sunflower, little one.”

What are the pros to our relationship?

Card: Death. Change, endings, beginnings, transition, end of cycles, rebirth.

Basically— the relationship will bring change to all aspects of my life including who I am as a person. As said in the temperance card, I have the potential and strength to grow into the best version I can be; Persephone acknowledges this. “I will tend to you, little one. I will water you, you will grow. I will speak to you, you will listen in delight. I will show you how beautiful growing pains can be, little one. It’s time to move on and grow.”

What are the cons to our relationship?

Card: Four of cups. Meditation, resentment, apathy, discontentment, distraction, withdrawal, rumination.

Basically— I feel like this card has A LOT to do with my distaste of change and my tendency to become impatient and anxiety ridden. I HATE change with a passion (earth sign tings lmao) so I will be doubtful of Persephone’s teachings, I will become restless, and bored. so this card corresponds with the death card. She will bring change and I might refuse it.

How would we benefit each other?

Card: Queen of cups rx. Insecurity, dependency, delusion, restrictive, over emotional.

Basically— a lack of spirituality has left me craving deeper meaning (look back to temperance. “Finding meaning” is most associated with temperance so👀) Persephone is here to help me experience more aspects of spirituality that will release the frustrations and emotions I lock away. I struggle with suppressing my emotions so I feel she might teach me to embrace these emotions and feel them instead of shaming myself for feeling it.

Is this a good match?

Card: Page of cups. Confidence, happiness, contentment, insight, inner child, delightful surprise, intuition.

Knowing your dark side is important for positive development. One thing magic has taught me is that it's healthy to have dark aspects to work on, more so, it's healthy to have dark sides to your character.

Tonight while calling on the Leo moon I asked the moon what dark aspect of myself should I be working on.

What message do you have for me?

Eros | eight of swords rx. Keywords are release, acceptance, accountability, discovery, awakening, liberation, and an open mind for change. Upon cutting ties with two people in my life, I began a relationship with Eros. This new relationship is beginning to grow & will help me let go of the past allowing me to transition into a better version of myself. He is excited for this new relationship. He’s proud of me for taking on this new relationship with him and having an open mind to a new path such as his & love witchcraft.

Persephone | page of swords. Keywords are thoughtfulness, clarity, curiousity, restlessness, inquisitive, verbose, and lively. I know exactly what Persephone is talking about. I had started a relationship with her on imbolc, setting up her altar and offering her a gift whilst I prayed. But since then, I haven’t done a spell or a ritual in her name. She has a million ideas and desires for us to do and achieve; she’s becoming impatient and pouty at my lack of action. She’s extremely excited and urges me to speak to her and progress the relationship.

The current state of your connection—

Basically— my relationship with Apollon has undergone a strain as I’m becoming hasty, frustrated, and in pain. My doubt to open myself up completely to Apollon and my frustration from his denial of permission to my desire has made Apollon encourage me to show him what I so desperately want to hide. He urges me to trust in /his/ path for me and to open up to him in a romantic, maybe even sexual way.

Basically— sis, I don’t even know, I’m just scared at this point lmao. I have felt a niggle, but It’s hard to believe this niggle is true. ????? I-????

Basically— I mean, I’d say that’s a positive ass card. Our relationship has grown so much these past few months and so has our love for one & other.

Basically— I’m melting sksksksks Apollon is saying I’ve been so good at devoting to him and to keep up the good work. He’s proud of me, y’all!!! I’m geeked this was certainly a gift.

How does Apollon truly feel about you—

Card: Breathing A New Age. “Birthing new creations. Dreaming a new world into being.”

Basically— oof this correlates with the first card I pulled. Apollon is addament about letting past routines, habits, and ways to fall in our relationship and in my life. Our relationship was destined for us to change the world, change us, and create a new aura for those to come. He feels I am someone who can change the world for the better. Maybe??? I think this might also mean it’s time for our relationship to move into something more serious like... ~romance~?

Basically— im pretty sure this has something to do with my coven. Ugh wait- I’m screaming I sorta feel like he’s telling me I need to heal myself and that my coven is my support system right now.
