Went to Whimsy Pots' event again and splurged on a couple new mugs, another incense burner, and the flower pot from last time that I foolishly neglected to buy. The potter, Amanda, once again was a delight to talk with, and I loved her little comments of "you're insane" while I was checking out. She's just the sweetest.

New moon rites in our house

Me: Working less, remember?

Nothing too fancy today. My lady and I have a shared day off for once, so we're staying inside and doing some little activities in the living room. I started my day with tarot, tea, and a general refresh of my altars and offerings. My love made breakfast/brunch, refreshed her altars, put on a vinyl record, and has been journalling. She decided 2pm is 5pm, so we have some lovely elderflower liqueur and vodka mixed drinks. Later, after I get in a workout and load of laundry, I'm sure we'll pop on one of our shows, pull out the mahjong set, and settle in for a peaceful afternoon/evening of old lady activities.

My lady and I went to a little local library's bookworm festival and came away with quite a few new herbs and trinkets and things. But these are by far my favorite. These are all handmade ceramics from a local seller, and we were both so excited about the mugs and the dragon and the incense burner that we ended up circling back like three times to keep coming back for more. The lady was thrilled, but her whole shop was so cute it was really necessary.

We then made the executive decision that she should live in the safest corner of our entertainment system, so that my lady's dasterdly son (who has already managed to break one of my altar's statues) doesn't have the chance to break my precious fairy. And I love this version of it too; it's hidden, for obvious reasons, but I still love to just sit and admire it. This is, however, the only photo I have of it on hand but whatever!
