Hey! HEY!
I got a diagnosis!!!
Yeah, it was the thing I’ve believed I’ve had for years now. Yeah, I was right. Yeah, my medical team finally caught up to me.
Yeah, it’s finally official!
Yippee!

My day:
I went to a healthcare clinic that does stuff with HIV and trans stuff.
Aaaand...I got diagnosed with gender dysphoria! Finally!
The other place I was going to wanted to wait at least 7 sessions later to diagnose anything.Â
Tomorrow I’m going back to talk about prescriptions and shitÂ
The wheels are finally turning again and I can’t wait to start HRT.
I have sleep issues. if I fall sleep quick, I wake up loads during the night, or really early in the morning, like, after 4-5 hours sleep. if I have trouble sleeping, I may not get to sleep for 2-5 hours before I fall asleep. I can't really make heads or tails of it; I used to think it was connected to my mood (I have bipolar 2), but it seems now to be unconnected, as both issues come up at both ends of the scale. sometimes its so hard to fall asleep it just isn't worth staying in bed, so I end up not sleeping at all. if it happens more than one night in a row, I end up loopy, and it still doesn't mean i'll sleep that night. super annoying.
and I have to tell myself stories before I sleep, or i have trouble. my little sister and I used to play pretend, or 'play', before we fell asleep; this was an every night thing when we shared a room (for 12 years!!), so you can see why it'd be an issue to go without. I was most of the boy voices, and she was most of the girls (she would put up a fuss if she wasn't the main female character); perhaps that's why I never had trouble with the thought I wasn't really a girl all the time? (androgynous mostly, girl the rest of the time) (shrug shrug)
