This Slow Cooker Beer Braised Flank Steak is tender, flavorful, and perfect for a comforting Sunday dinner. The combination of beer, beef broth, and spices creates a rich braising sauce that infuses the steak with delicious flavors as it cooks low and slow in the slow cooker.
Ingredients: 2 lbs flank steak. 1 onion, sliced. 4 cloves garlic, minced. 1 cup beef broth. 1 bottle of beer. 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce. 1 tbsp Dijon mustard. 1 tbsp brown sugar. 1 tsp dried thyme. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Add salt and pepper to the flank steak. In the bottom of the slow cooker, put garlic and onions that have been sliced. Season the flank steak and place it on top of the garlic and onions. Beer, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and dried thyme should all be mixed together in a bowl. Mix well. Mix the beers together and pour them over the flank steak in the slow cooker. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or until the steak is soft. After the flank steak is done, take it out of the slow cooker and let it rest for a few minutes. Then, cut it into thin slices. The slow cooker beer braising sauce goes well with the sliced flank steak.
