Some HoK siblings banter + encouragement, featuring the other main ship in this story, which I don't think I've introduced yet.

Afternoon shone bright off the cobblestone, but the great oak shaded Chorrol’s plaza.
Reptilious leaned against a wall, his brooding face speckled with sunlight and shadow as he stared at the plaza.
“Hey, Til,” Lecrinn slid up next to him, “Praelyn needs to know what all ingredients you have.”
He continued staring onward, no change in his expression.
“Til?” She furrowed her brows. “Tilious!”
“Hm?” he looked at her. “Yeah, I’ll be right there.”
“What are you-?” she turned.
He looked startled. “Let’s just go!”
In the middle of the square, under the great tree, sat Dar-Ma with a crowd around her.
Lecrinn turned her smirk to Reptilious, he glaring back. The smirk softened. “Will you just tell her already?”
Crossing his arms, he looked away. “There’s nothing to tell.”
“Oh please, you’re madly in love with her.”
The smirk grew. “He says madly.”
“Look at her!” he waved an arm at her talking and laughing with the crowd. “She’s the heart of Chorrol, probably everyone’s in love with her.”
“Maybe, but is she in love with everyone?”
Clasping her hands together, she gave a teasing tone. “But you’re her hero.”
He turned his head away, muttering, “Doesn’t mean she’s in love me.”
“She could be!” She threw her hands apart. “You won’t know if you don’t tell her.”
His head lowered, starting to look more pouty than mad.
Her face hardened, deep seeded fears showing through as she spoke quiet and serious. “We’re in the middle of a crisis, in times like these our friends are what holds us up. You need to let yourself lean on them, and you need to let them know how much they matter, ‘cause they’re in this crisis too.”
Crumpled face softening, he looked toward Dar-Ma.
Turning from one side of the crowd to the other, she paused as she saw Reptilious, eyes brightening and smile widening at him.
Anger melting away, he returned it with a soft but stricken smile.
She continued turning to the crowd, eyes taking a little longer.
Heart lighter, he sighed. “…Maybe you’re right.”
Lecrinn looked proud of herself.
With a slight snicker, he turned to her. “Kind of ironic that you’re the one telling me this, huh?”
She gave a confused smile. “Why?”
