It was nice to have a warm, spicy curry during the cold.
No. Bruma did not have good spices. But luckily, J'skar ordered a bunch from Novaroma, and he was well supplied.
Everyone here loved J'skar's curry. Even his picky Altmer friend ask for his curry recipe. But no. He didn't gave them his mama's recipe. Only the water downed version. He left out moon sugar and half of the chilies. These poor hairless folk could never handled the real Khajiit curry.
"That smells so good." His stupid Altmer friend was attracted by the aroma. They both looked into the pot and took a long sniff. That was the good stuff. The beautiful red sauce started bubbling. It was pretty much done.
"Ey, bro. Do you think I can pull off red suit?" Volanaro loved to ask random question out of the blue. Well, out of the red this time.
"Heck yeah you can~ You can pull off anything." J'skar moved the pot from the heat. He would not tell him he imagined dipping him in the curry, and came out red.
"You really thinks so?" Volanaro asked when J'skar started to working on the dough.
Hmm, that sounded like he wanted a real feedback. Maybe it was one of the Acelta thing.
"It's the color of passionate, warm, and jolly. That all suits you well." J'skar took the rolling stick and stared flatten the dough.
"Thanks, bro." He seemed genuine. That's rare.
J'skar roll the dough flat, and threw it in the pan. Volanaro was in charge of flipping the naan when it was cooked. They worked together in silence, passing naans.
All the naans were done, and J'skar finished his thoughts at the same time.
"Hey, I know you'll look great, but the important thing is you feel good about yourself."
Volanaro answered with a bright smile.
"Thanks. I love you, bro."
"Let's get the girls, and it's lunch time."
"I'll never wear red ever again!" Volanaro threw the red shirt on the floor, threw himself in the bed and screamed in the pillow.
"What? Why? What's wrong?"
"I just gave him a panic attack! Apparently red is the color of the Mythic Dawn, a.k.a. Enemy of the Empire!" Volanaro shouted the answer and threw his head back to the pillow.
"But, but red has more positive meanings than negative."
