Oh TRUE! that's why I'm scared--I've been watching Jordan since 2013 and there is absolutely no way he wouldn't immediately be playing a chaos character like you say. Like let's be real, I forget the specifics of Mianite lore since it's been a long time, but I've seen Mianite. I know that this man is like when he's in a roleplay with lore and it's isn't "uwu morally pure."

Frankly, this is why he works so well with Tubbo. If you add Sparklez and officially canonize the family relationship it's just gonna be "like father like son" in the chaos department.

I want Sparklez on the smp for these reasons:

1) I love him,,,, comfort streamer on smp is pog

2) dadsparklez canon, I mean jordan is already happy to canonize it and he's not even in the lore

3) more tubbo and sparklez interactions

4) begins to flesh out tubbo's backstory and adds more character depth, plus puts another person on Tubbo’s "side" so to speak. Of course something could happen in canon to drive them apart (like, NOBODY predicted where Phil's character would go before he got added), but I kind of doubt Jordan would do that given how he's reacted to canon so far. Unless he wants to purposely be evil to the fans lol

5) potentially cool lore about him as a character

I just have fear because like everybody else on the entire smp, Jordan's character will also inevitably be morally gray and idk if I can stand another round of discourse about parental figures. Tubbo already sometimes gets babied by the fandom. But if Jordan gets added he is not going to baby Tubbo and he is going to act chaotic and the part of the fandom that's obsessed with moral purity and perfect father figures isn't going to be happy about that.

Basically
