So the other day @aris_inmotion was telling me about a drill he calls #dirtyhundreds, which consists of of different variations of a leg lift drill that I first learned for #hcc8 from @blue_yagoo. I didn't think I'd have time to do a hundred in a 1min video, so I decided to try #dirtyfifties for my #whatwouldericdo drill ππ₯ this was my 4th set, I don't think I could have had a more honest reaction after doing 200 leg lifts πππ I immediately followed this up with doing the #kingaurthurstretch (or #couchstretch as some people call it) for five min on each side π. The 2 most important parts of this drill are: 1, to keep the palms flat and pressing into the ground, and 2 is to keep those legs locked out to stretch the hammies and work the quads π¬π So I would definitely recommend a good 15min+ warm up for your hips and hammies prior to attempting these, because it will make them less sucky. Not good, but less sucky, these always suck.... your legs are just eventually straighter and lift higher for more repetitions ππ the variations are.... 1, (10x) one leg at a time lifts. I'm just alternating until there's 10 each leg for a total of 20 lifts. You can also do 10 in a row one leg at a time like I did for my first 3 sets. Variation 2 is (10x) both legs at the same time. Variation 3 is (10x) circles. And the final variation is (10x) up and down pulses πͺπͺ.
