#corrupted headcanons

The Master Builders : The corrupted Constructicons and Grapple all get together and build a building together (Hoist is there too. He’s not corrupted, he’s just there... supervising). Nobody is evil in this episode, it’s just about some monsters hanging out and having fun building things. Though it’s more of a pile than a tower. The Autobots and Cons all watch, worried these creatures will go on a rampage, but they’re just piling up bits on top of each other. It’s not quite perfect and one of them nudges a piece a little to the right... and they all cheer.

A Decepticon Raider in King Arthur's Court : No time travel happens in this episode. The corrupts invade a Ren Fair and the Larpers there decide they are evil monsters they have to fight. Corrupted Warpath and Ramjet get into a headbutt fight with each other. Starscream takes over a castle and decides to nest in it. The Autobots arrive and Skyfire tries to convince Starscream not to eat any of the larpers. Even though the larpers have decided he’s the final boss and are throwing spears at him. But they’re all made of foam so just bounce straight off him.

Traitor : Basically what I have planned for Cliffjumper and Mirage’s arcs.

Auto Berserk : Corrupted Starscream and Red Alert escape from the Ark and go on adventures together.

Prime Target : Crazy rich game hunter decides that he wants to hunt down some of these huge metal kaiju who have been wandering around.

The Girl Who Loved Powerglide : Astoria meets a Corrupted Powerglide and just decides he is the cutest darn thing ohmygod, where can she get one?

AHAHAHAHAH! THANK YOU ANON, YOU ARE BRILLIANT!

Yes! That is his theme tune now! Also it makes me think of Cliff crashing into something and then rings falling everywhere.

What about a corrupted combiner?

What do you think you’re doing! Just coming in here and suggesting yet more super cool ideas I totally want to draw! How dare you do this to me.

Though that’s something I’ve been thinking on for a while, so LET’S TALK ABOUT CORRUPTED COMBINERS!

So, like the fact that corrupted seekers don’t end up looking the same, corrupted combiners are all different and need to be taken on a case-to-case basis. 

Some gestalts corrupt whilst in their combined state and after corrupting can no longer remember how to separate and they are stuck like that. In some cases one single component has corrupted and this manages to spread all the other combiner, quickly engulfing them.

Some corrupt individually but still manage to retain the ability to combine after corrupting, some of them just have such a strong sense of individuality that it’s easy to separate to their individual components (The Stunticons).

Some I think would actually just be kind of happy staying combined after being corrupted cos they’re such a cohesive unit (like if the Constructicons and Victorion were to corrupt). Some of them are being forced to stay together by a gestalt leader and are stuck being in this state (that would probably be Megatronia).

You’re probably right actually, he probably is one of the fastest ones just due to still having an altmode. There are some others I’m planning to still keep in their altmodes (mostly Tracks, or other ones that have some level of vanity relating to their alts).

Him being more cheetah like feels like it’d feel more appropriate if it was one of the sports cars that corrupted (like maybe Sunstreaker, even though I had a different design for him). I can imagine them running themselves ragged and then being fatigued afterwards.

I don’t remember stating Prowl is evil? Corrupts aren’t really good or evil, they’re mostly like animals and don’t have a sense of morality.

I’ve also done corrupted Optimus and Bumblebee but they’re not necessarily evil. Some corrupts aren’t even all that violent. There’s ones like Mirage who are mostly confused. And corrupted Thundercracker just wants to make a nice nest for the dog he stole.

What made you think Prowl in specific is evil? I am curious.
